Beautiful, cozy cottage located on owner's property. Surrounded by lakes (however not on one), world-class golf, towering pine trees and amazing restaurants and shopping. You will have the cottage to yourself. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed, also a full bath. The living room sofa pulls out to sleep two more. We are walking distance to Pequot Lakes, and just a 10 minute drive to Breezy Point or Nisswa for an amazing shopping experience. We welcome friendly, fully vetted dogs.

Get away with your family and enjoy the lake with all the luxurious amenities needed to work remotely including Gigabit high speed internet, dedicated workspace with a beautiful view of the lake. *Note - onsite hot tub is explicitly off limits per county ordinance.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

We have high speed wi-fi available throughout the property. We have an office area available for those that need to do a little work while staying at our house.

Welcome to the Treetop Cabin — a cozy, elevated getaway on 4 private acres of pines in the heart of Crosslake! Built in 2017, this two-story cabin features a great room with a fireplace, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, and comfy log furnishings. Relax on the porch, play yard games, or watch for deer and wildlife! Close to lakes, trails, shops, and restaurants. Note: 20+ stairs up to the cabin; loft stairs are steeper than standard. Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

Castaway Cove

Come unwind and create unforgettable moments at our newly renovated cabin located on a spacious private lot on Fish Trap Lake. Have fun playing outdoor games or just unwind by the lake. Don't miss out on our cozy firepit for evening s’mores!. Stay warm and snug during winter with our lovely wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the paddle boat, kayaks and dock, and for more fun, rent the pontoon and jet-ski. We also have a 30 amp rv hookup option for $45/day.

On the shore of Clark Lake and nestled under a canopy of Norway pines, the cabin provides a cozy getaway. With lake access, you can fish right from the dock, enjoy a paddle on the water, or relax by the outdoor fire pit. The Paul Bunyan trail is just steps away. Bike or stroll (or snowmobile!) straight into the town of Nisswa, home to shops, great coffee, and unique places to eat. In the warmer months, you might even see some turtles racing downtown!
