Prince Edward Island: pousadas

Large, light, airy bedroom overlooking the West River in a beautiful part of PEI. We arrived a day early (booked incorrect night). Rainy welcomed us and gave us a choice of room. Lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Nicole was so warm and welcoming. The room was large and uniquely put together. We spent our first evening, relaxing in the room and on the back deck, and it was so peaceful and close to nature.

we stayed 2 nights at Jim's B&B. It is located just right off trans Canada highway, easy to get there but also very quiet in the night, we had nice sleeps. Jim greeted us with smooth checking in. The room we booked actually is a small apartment with a full kitchen, living room, bath room and bed room with air conditioner, which was a nice surprise to us, as this was stated on air B&B. The apartment is super clean, the bed and sofa are very comfortable. Jim made delicious breakfast for us every morning, and we had great conversion with Jim and other guests in the mornings. As we need to leave early on the day we checked out, Jim even offered an early full breakfast for us which made our day. Thank you Jim! We will go back to stay your place again when visiting the island next time. I highly recommend this place when you are looking for a place to stay at PEI. It is only 30 mins drive from Charlottetown.

Top quality place Picture 2 drenched cyclists under the pouring rain approaching an immaculate heritage house, nestled in vineyards. Well..that's us. Lorne and Marine were first-class hosts. From Marine welcoming us with dry towels, to offering a welcome wine, to showing us one of their beautiful Bichon Frisé, to preparing a great, homemade, earthy breakfast. The house could be the perfect set of a movie. Plus, we also met some top notch guest stars. Everything was impeccable. Quality place.

We enjoyed our stay wit Xu who truly is a super host. For breakfast we were more than adequately provided for. The home was spacious and well kept, beautifully decorated. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable nights rest in a great location. Kathy & Jim

This is our third visit, and it's a fantastic place to stay in Charlottetown. Everything is within a short walk. The cleanliness was top-notch, the hosts were extremely friendly, and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

Mary was a lovely host. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Olde Anchor B&B. Breakfast was spot on, great choices too. Murray River is a quaint little village in PEI with beaches at every turn - it seems. We didn't get a chance to utilize the hot tub or firepit unfortunately as it was very warm & humid during our stay - but the AC in the room was great! This year seems to be particularly bad for mosquitos so if you plan to be outside to enjoy all that PEI has to offer - bring bug spray :)

We had a great stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The communication was quick and very good. The host also helped us with breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed.

Kamal and Thushani are very gracious hosts who clearly take a great deal of pride and joy in ensuring their guests have the best stay possible. The rooms and common/dining area they provide are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was always a delight. Highly recommended!

Drew is a very kind and helpful host, as is Becky the dog. I had a lovely time, and Drew went above and beyond to help me explore the area. I highly recommend his wonderful homestead.

We were blown away with the beauty of this home and Isabella’s attention to detail The breakfasts were amazing and her suggestions of places to see and restaurants to not miss were fantastic We will definitely be back

We needed a place to stay that was walkable to Sommo Fest. Chris is the nicest host. He’s super friendly and easy to communicate with. This part of the island is super beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. The best part of Chris’ place was his German pancake breakfast and his dog, Monty. :)

Absolutely loved our stay with Angela! The space was wonderful: clean, cozy, with lots of opportunities to ask about the area. Angela had great suggestions for restaurants and places to see, even asking our opinions on the spots we visited to share with future guests. We loved the dogs and appreciated the chance to spend time with them as we were missing our own pup. Would recommend Angela's place and plan on returning during our next PEI trip!
