Take a peaceful ride in the canoe, bring your rods to catch bluegill, & enjoy some outdoor cooking on the gas grill or fire pit. A nature-lover's dream! Looking for a quiet place in the Northwoods? This rustic cabin built in the 1950’s on a private lake is exactly what you’re looking for. Observe untouched nature; bald eagles, deer, loons and hummingbirds. Historic, no gas motor Lake found on Kasomo Lake. Complimentary row-boat, kayak, canoe, paddle boat and stand up paddle board for use. These 2 acres, surrounded only by trees, boasts a perfect experience of Northern Wisconsin vibes. Very quick access to the Heart of Vilas bike path.

Phelps Hillside Resort is proud to offer Cabin 1. The entire resort including the cabins have undergone extensive renovations in the spring of 2022. Our guests will love this spacious 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cabin. Cabin 1 will sleep 8 people and has an additional pull out futon. The cabin has incredible views of the Lac Vieux Desert! Bring a boat or UTV of your own or ask about renting one! Hillside Restaurant is on site and has incredible Friday Fish Fry’s and prime rib Saturdays!

Genuine log cabin with all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway to nature. Privacy, room to roam. Huge firepit area with abundant seating. Good fishing. Spectacular fall foliage. Winter-direct access to snowmobile trails or stay cozy indoors in front of the fireplace. There are a few taxidermy species mounted on walls. Board games. Three TVs. Dish Network and Internet. Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.

Full scribed log cabin is freshly remodeled with new appliances and mattresses. Pets are allowed for a $100 fee. Please let us know if you are bringing a pet.
