A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. The most wonderful cottage to spend your vacation Whether you are looking for a romantic country retreat, a seaside pad for some family fun, or a traditional farm cottage to get back to nature, this is a holiday home waiting for you. It is possible to drive all the way to Hilmarsstova, locaded 90 meters over all other buildings with the most wonderful views of the surrounding area. On a clear evening you get unobstructed view to the twinkling stars above without disturbing city lighting,

Luksus sommerhus fra 2022 i skønne omgivelser med en fantastisk udsigt, beliggende i et afsides sted med et utroligt rigt dyreliv. Du kan møde harer lige udenfor huset, og fugle bygger reder runt omkring i græsmarkerne. Der er 12 sengepladser i huset, plus 2 rejsesenge til småbørn, men masser af plads for ekstra madrasser på gulvet. Fra juli 2023 er det muligt at leje adgang til jacuzzi til 6 personer mod ekstra gebyr. 1.000kr for 1 dag, de efterfølgende dage koster det 500kr pr dag.

Denne rummelige bolig kan prale af et nyrenoveret køkken og badeværelse samt en fantastisk udsigt over Hovsfjorden fra terrassen. Nyd din morgenkaffe eller et lækkert måltid, mens du nyder det maleriske landskab. Landsbyen Hov emmer af historie og byder på masser af muligheder for at gå på opdagelse i naturen. Her kan du roligt læne dig tilbage og slappe af i vores unikke og rolige sommerhus. Huset blev bygget i 1920, men er netop blevet nyrenoveret. Nyd den flotte havudsigt fra næsten alle vinduer. Placeringen er central. Den lokale købmand ligger 250 m fra huset, og 30 m fra huset ligger kajen, hvor der er mulighed for at fiske. Der er 4 værelser, 2 større og 2 mindre. Tilsammens er der 7 sovepladser. Kun 10 min kørsel til fodboldhal, svømmehal, café’er og resturanter.

Slap af i denne ældre og rolige bolig, som min bedstefar byggede i 1928, og som har været hjem for min familie. Huset ligger i en gammel bydel ved Trangisvåg fjord - en halv times gåtur fra Tvøroyri. Naturoplevelserne er lige udenfor døren. Gåture i fjeldet, fiskeri, havbad, fugle, blomster, tang, foto, maleri, ro men også venlige mennesker. Retreat eller aktivitet, velegnet til begge dele. Enlige, familier under alle omstændigheder hyggeligt.

Gula húsið

Slap af i denne unikke og rolige bolig med havudsigt, kulkomfur og plads til at slappe af i rigtig mormorstil. Huset fra 1901 er velbeholdt med indretning fra den tidligere ejer, men med nye tekstiler. Her er alt, hvad du har brug for, kort til strand, madvarebutik og legeplads. Boligen indeholder en dobbeltseng, to enkelt senge, en sovesofa og luftmadras, hvis nødvendigt.

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

Family house near the sea in Suduroy/Faroe Island

Our house is in Vágur, Suðuroy. It is spacious and has four bedrooms. Petrol station, Magn, is in walking distance. We are the closest neighbours to Pálshøll, aquatic center. The location is perfect for exploring Suðuroy, and Vágur has dining and shopping oppourtunities. We personally love walking around the lake west from the village.

We renovated this old boathouse 2021. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people.
