You are welcome to our traditional Bedouin home located to the village Uum Sayhoun. Our village is located very close to ancient city of Petra and it's a perfect place to explore the real Bedouin life. Feel safe to walk around the village, meet the local people, interact with them and learn about our stories, history and culture. My family and I will be your host and we will provide you with any help or advice you need. You can join with us traditional meals, shisha, tea, music and dance.

Petra bedouine culture house

We are a local homestay located in Uum Sayhoun, a little village next to Petra. We are located 2.5 km away from the main entrance of Petra and only a 5 minute walk from the second entrance. Me and my husband are both from bedouin families, who originally lived in the Caves before Petra became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Our families were moved to the village where we lived ever since. We provide communal space, bathroom with hot shower, a shared kitchen and prepared meals, tours.

Manal and Abid grew up in Wadi Musa / Petra. They invite you into their home and culture. Offering traditional Bedouin accommodations with breakfast, Bedouin cooking classes, and lots of pots of traditional Bedouin sweet tea. Abid and his nephews also work as local guides. It's a room based at Town Season Hotel on the basement floor. Located on the city center of Wadi Musa within 1 Km from the Petra Visitor Center. The bathroom is well equipped with bath/shower, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries.
