Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

The Pod at Bayfield

The Pod is situated halfway between Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher, at the gateway to the Burren. Scenic hill walks and Sea swimming all on your door step. We are 5km drive from picturesque Kinvara Village, and 5 min drive from Traught Beach. Plenty to do in the area, you will be spolit for choice

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Close to Coole park, a 5 minute drive, and just 10 minutes off the wild Atlantic way and the Gateway to the Burren. We are a 13 minute drive from kinvara., 6 minutes from gort, 15km from clarinbridge, and 30km to Galway city. A 45 minute drive from Shannon Airport off the m18.

The Lodge at Caherkelly

A warm welcome awaits at The Lodge at Caherkelly. Nestled off the main N18 near Ardrahan, the Lodge is set on a 5-acre site. A peaceful countryside area yet perfectly located within a 25 min commute to Galway City and within minutes to The Wild Atlantic Way route. The local bus stop in Labane village is a 5 min walk, with hourly buses servicing Galway, Limerick and Cork routes. There is also a service station, shop and bar in Labane village.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
