Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

This modern cottage is a treasure on a quiet lake in the perfect location to still be able to get groceries but feel like you’ve escaped the city. We will definitely book again.

Jesse is an amazing host. He was constantly checking in with us about our comfort. The house was squeaky clean. The highlight is the kayaks and paddle-boats. Kids had a lot of fun. House is pretty big with lots of area in the living rooms to sit and chit-chat. All in all a perfect getaway for big families.

Peter’s place was as good as expected! Everything was so clean and beautiful. We had such a great time in there enjoying the nature with all the comforts the place provides. A deer family visit us during our stay and it was a wonderful experience! Peter is a super kind and friendly host and he responds very fast! We definitely recommend this place

Perfect peaceful cottage on the lake. So many beds available but the spaces don’t feel crowded even with many people in the house. Cozy and truly authentic cottage feel. My son felt like the bunkie was his own piece of heaven. We appreciated the outdoor amenities such as kayaks and canoe. Even on the crisp late October days we visited we enjoyed the lake, and the wood stove kept us snug in the evening. Nathan was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just a wonderful visit overall.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. We stayed during a pretty nasty ice storm so it was incredibly helpful that we had the back-up generator. His maintenance guy Bill was great at checking in with us and making sure everything was working as expected.

We’ve been staying at Jessica’s properties for the past four years and always enjoy our stay. If you have a boat or other water vessel, this place provides a free slip for the duration of your stay which is great! Jessica’s properties are always extremely clean, free of clutter and provide all the necessities and more! The restaurant and general store at the marina (on site) are very convenient. If you do have a boat or rent one on site, be sure to visit Juniper Island! It’s always a fav of ours to visit.

We were two families and grandparents, a total of 12 people, and there were enough beds for everyone. The house is spacious and comfortable. When it rained, there was plenty of room for all of us to stay inside and still feel cozy. When the weather cleared, the surroundings were simply breathtaking. We even enjoyed a short kayak trip. When the sun hits just right, the place looks absolutely magical. The game room was the ultimate bonus – it made the vacation even better for the kids (and the adults!). Highly recommended for a family getaway!

My boyfriend found this hidden gem for us to spend our holidays at, this place is amazing! Jessica has really put a lot of care and time into making this place a one of a kind experience. The spa was something that was new to us and we’re hooked! So relaxing and the neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly, the most noise we heard were the spring peepers, blue jays and the rooster in the morning as they have chickens and farm fresh eggs available! If you want to get away for a cozy and relaxing holiday this is the place to book!
