We've enjoyed the stay in Vickie's cottage. It is located in a rural area which is very quiet. The cottage is a perfect starting point for visiting the stunning De Hoop Nature Reserve. The optional breakfast was fantastic!

A beautiful location, a magical night sky, a lovely host! A cute Cottage with everything you need. My suggestion, add the hot tub fees to rate like most properties that have this feature. Will recommend this cottage to everyone!

Very quiet and private but still only a short safe walk to the Main Street. We loved the location and sitting out in the evening enjoying the setting sun and then an explosion of stars overhead! The woodfired tub was fabulous and got very hot, it was enjoyed with chilled wine! We thought the cottage was exceptionally well stocked with coffee, tea etc and lots of lovely crockery, glassware etc! The guide book is the best. I have seen, I loved it and the cottage too!

We had a lovely and peaceful family breakaway. The tents have all you need to make your stay comfy while still giving a camping feel.

We had a most wonderful stay. The little home feels like a garden of Eden, filled with the most beautiful pieces she has found and peaceful nature. Will definitely be coming back and will recommend to friends.

My favourite Airbnb stay so far! This wonderful place was a slice of paradise and the perfect accommodation to unwind. Graeme was extremely helpful and kind, always so quick to answer any query we might have. Only wish we had longer to stay. Thanks again!

Absolutely loved Renee’s place. Peaceful and private. That lookout in the morning over the fields and seeing the horses and the beautiful landscape is special. Weather was not the best but the fireplace inside kept the place well heated. Everything we needed was there, did not expect the games, thoroughly enjoyed it. The braai spot was tops with everything you need. Bedroom was just enough, we could plug in our tv box and connect to the wifi, no issues. The horses…loved it. The highlight was the hot tub…after getting the fire going to heat it up…we got stuck in there for a few hours, loved it. Thanks again Renee. Highly recommended if you just want to break away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hanna’s container home! The space is thoughtfully designed, cozy, and filled with natural light—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Waking up in such a unique setting was a real treat, and we especially appreciated the fresh duck eggs for breakfast in the morning. They were delicious and made our stay feel extra special. Hanna’s hospitality and attention to detail truly set this listing apart. We couldn’t have asked for a better home-away-from-home and can’t wait to return someday soon! 😊

A breathtaking stay with amazing views to an accommodating and an ever assisting host, I booked this stay purely based on the picture for my husbands birthday and him needing some time away on our own, this place more than just delivered, to the drive in just before sunset with an amazing view of the farm and the mountains from the top of the container to the mystical nights in the hot tub with fairy lights, or the shower opening up to the bushes, this more than just delivered in tranquil and serene environments to my husband feeling rejuvenated and not wanting to leave. A great escape from the urban stresses with everything one needs. The only criticism i can mention is that the container could be a bit bigger, but everything else more than delivers. We will definitely be returning to this special cabin.

We (a family with 2 young kids) spend one night at the Almond Cottage III and we were so happy with our choice. It was kind of a stopover because the drive from Plettenberg to Cape Town was too long for the kids, that's why we made this stopover in Swellendam. It's a lovely town and the estate is situated about 10 minutes out of town. It's so quiet, calm and peaceful. There are 3 cottages, but each has its private space and even its own fire place. I loved the design of the interior with floor mats of a local artist. Really lovely and much attention to detail. We also ordered their grace boxes which were fantastic. The cheese platter was in the cottage in the evening when we arrived. The breakfast boxes were delivered at 8 am to the cottage. The food was amazing with lots of variety! I can only recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, lovely place.

Laura has clearly put a lot of thought and love into the setting up the accommodation so beautifully - with wonderful little special touches and great attention to detail. Thank you for making our couple of night's stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable (and thank you for the delicious rusks too)!

Nina is a great host. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at her place. This is the best place to take time out and relax, we didn’t do much but it felt so good to just relax. The space is homey and well equipped for a nice braai. I honestly enjoyed being at the farm. Nina gave us clear instructions on how to get there and this was helpful since the road is still being developed. I’d advise that you buy food and drinks in Hermanus before arriving at the place this will ensure that you enjoy your time at the accommodation. If you need time out of the city to relax or write or just read this is the place to be! So refreshing

We had a wonderful 4 day stay, would have loved to stay longer, but will definitely return. The views are spectacular - super special sun and moonrises. High quality appliances, bed linen and tastefully decorated. Beautiful walks through the apple orchards and next to the dam. Plenty of wood for the hot tub and fireplace. Super responsive host. Great value. Highly recommended. We LOVED our stay. Thank you Camilla! There is a road further down the hill in front of the cabin, it can get a bit busy/noisy, but the spectacular scenery is worth it.
