I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

It's a perfect location for a peaceful stay. The cabin is surrounded by nature and has everything you need to unwind, relax, and enjoy! Highly recommended.

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

This was a wonderful stay - the house is gorgeous, the beds are comfortable, there is a lot of room for two families, and a well stocked kitchen - and it is all set on beautiful land. We all loved greeting the horses each day, and walking the grounds, discovering the streams, and enjoying the wildlife. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We came back to Michelle and Jim's place in 2025 for a reason... It's a wonderful place to spend time! The home is beautifully decorated, the outdoor patio and deck areas have comfortable seating and the fire pit and dock house provide onsite getaways. If the weather keeps you inside... you can shoot pool, throw darts, play foosball or watch a movie. Lots of terrific restaurants and historical sites within 30-45 minutes of the house. Truly a magical place! Thank you Michelle and Jim.

This lake house was beautiful with excellent views. Eric was very communicative and accommodating, offering early check in and local recommendations. There would have been more to do in the warmer months but it was still nice for a winter getaway.

Great stay. Lovely property and Sam was easy to communicate with. Lots of great wineries and restaurants in the area. Just be aware it can be muddy due to the dirt road and parking area. it is red clay so bring appropriate shoes/boots for the season. Would definetly stay again.

This was an awesome place to stay. We were there for a big wedding and it was perfect and well worth it Clean, and we’ll taken care of. A farm setting in a beautiful area. We met Sharon and Peaches ,one of her dogs, when we got there and they are some cool people You gotta check that place out Thanks Sharon for your hospitality

The one bedroom cabin was simply awesome. The grounds, views and pool were amazing. 11/10. Gazebo was another perfect addition for outdoor space and activities. Can’t wait to get back and reserve the other spaces there - 3 bedroom cabin and large house sleeping 12. Awesome time in Somerset!

Our stay at Bloomingdale was wonderful! You could feel the history of the house. It was well appointed with a beautiful kitchen looking over the fields and an open living and dining room. There was also a large den and another parlor on the main level for get away spaces. Upstairs beds were comfortable and bathrooms were plentiful. We had a great stay and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend.

A group of my college buddies and I get together every year to hang out for the weekend, and this was a great place to do it. The basement was perfect for watching football, watching movies, playing video games, and pool. The hot tub was great in the cold weather. We really enjoyed our stay.

Truly the photos don’t do it justice! 11 of us stayed and there was more than enough room. Clean, modern, new home and the hot tub was a blessing after a long day! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding weekend! Thank you both.

This location is amazing! The views are unbelievable, especially the night sky from the hot tub. It is very peaceful, even with it being located next to their brewery. We enjoyed walking to the brewery for the live music, pizza and drinks. The music wasn't overpowering so you could still hold a conversation with your company, and it didn't annoy you if you were at the house. We also enjoyed all of the antique pieces of furniture/structures around the home. One of the days we hiked White Oak Canyon Trail, it was only about 25 minutes away and worth the waterfall views. We would visit this location again!

Extended family getaway for the weekend, and this house was perfect for us! Just a few minutes drive outside of downtown Orange, VA. A very private, and quiet setting, off of the main road. The interior of the house looks brand new, and the furnishings are wonderful. Very comfortable beds, with very nice sheets. Lots of bathroom towels. Adequate supplies/dishes in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful location! Carlene and Allan were very friendly hosts. They provided perfect instructions for arrival and left a wonderful welcome basket stocked with snacks and breakfast items. The apartment was immaculate, perfect size for our family of 4 and well stocked. We will definitely be back to stay!

This is hands down my favorite airbnb rental ever. It's also the only one I've ever returned to. We so enjoyed our time in Rapidan! We brought pretty much all our food, so i only left the property once in 5 days. Heaven!! (though the rooster was quite talkative, the cows went serenely on their way!)

As a group of 12 ( adults + kids) the place was perfect for us. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this beautiful home especially the backyard views with the lake were very peaceful.

My family really enjoyed this beautiful home! View of lake was wonderful. Cold weather weekend, but guys still got fire going in fireplace! Seven Grands age range 10 to 24, games in Rec room kept everyone happy. Our favorite thing was Huge dining table! All could sit down to eat. Then have card games going at both ends of table, while the younger group played board game at the bar! Open concept with living area, (football on tv) meant all 16 were in the same space to enjoy being family!!! Well worth the money!!!

Loretta's house was just what we needed for a 'girl's weekend'. The house was exactly as pictured and there was plenty of space for gathering for conversation or watching movies. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes along with pots/pans plus a large dining table. Everyone commented that the beds were incredibly comfortable. So much that we all wanted to take the beds back home. The house sits on a main road into Gordonsville but it sits far enough from the road that we didn't hear any traffic. It was very peaceful and quiet. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard patio due to the weather, but it had a nice table and firepit. Loretta was very responsive to all our questions and flexible. A great host. Overall, we were very pleased with the house, and I would definitely stay here again.
