He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Enjoy the private lakefront and dock on the property and a brand new kitchen (remodeled 2024)! This classic 1-bed + loft A-frame is great for couples or small families who enjoy the outdoors! The bedroom features bunk beds for the little ones while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for the grown-ups. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame.

"The Hideaway" Dog-friendly Forest Cabin

Come hideaway in an A-frame campsite, just 3 miles from Ruby Beach. South of Forks, Wa. Enjoy a fire pit and 2 shelters. If you want to camp somewhere beautiful and remote, and don’t want to worry with sleeping outside, this land welcomes you. Private creek trail nearby. Gravel floor inside.
