Absolutely beautiful property; if anything the pictures cannot do justice to the panorama of the lake and surrounding hills. We were lucky with the weather and the place has everything that you need! Tim was also and hand to help out with the hot tub etc. Simply superb!

The location was absolutely amazing – right on a quiet, beautiful beach with a fantastic view. We even spotted dolphins in the morning! The accommodation itself was super well-equipped and incredibly clean. It felt so cozy and comfortable. With 10 people, there was plenty of space, and everything we needed was provided – from dishes to extra blankets and pillows. Nothing was missing. This place is an absolute gem. 10/10, highly recommended. Top, top, top!

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

Beautiful well equipped modern farmhouse with braai and kol-kol - set against a koppie - very comfortable for 3 couples. Mercia from the associated guesthouse next door was an excellent host and made our stay very easy - we had a delicious breakfast there.

Tia was a welcoming host, her place is absolutely stunning with some much effort and love put in to make you feel right at home, the beds were super comfy. The house is so beautiful! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Thanks so much Tia for your wonderful hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay—this place truly exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice! The home is beautifully decorated, and the outdoor area is absolutely lovely. The bonfire and porch really capture the charm and tranquility of the Karoo. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

An absolutely stunning place - we loved every moment at Emma's beach house! This property is quite literally a stones throw from a gorgeous little rocky bay, in which we had two great days of crayfish diving and kayaking. There are sandy beaches a two minute walk to the left, which makes swimming and sunbathing easy, and means that the spot offers something for the whole family. We watched a few impressive sunsets from the patio, and had a great evening at the outside fire. Perfectly set up for families that like to be in the ocean and share time around the fire / dinner table. Easy check-in courtesy of the security company headquarters behind the house (nice to be completely safe, too!). We will certainly be back!

We loved our stay, perfectly situated as a half way point for our trip to Cape Town. Karen was lovely and communicated throughout, being able to order dinner for the evening was a nice touch and the lamb was great. Thank you for having us

Carna is a very friendly and welcoming host. The apartment is beautifuly decorated with thoughtful touches and the view from the kitchen and lounge is amazing. It is a very short stroll down to the beach- the location cannot be better.

We stayed for 1 night on our drive from Joburg back to Cape Town. It was the perfect overnight stopover for us. We could have easily planned a longer stay after discovering how cool the Karoo National Park was on our drive out the next day. Izak did a great job stocking the apartment with everything you need and utilized the space very well. It was comfortable, private, and is on a beautiful property. We would recommend a stay here to anyone, especially for the road trippers who want a day or so exploring the Karoo.

Fantastic location right on the beach! Less than 10 minutes walk to Spar and around 15 minutes walk to harbour restaurants and bird island. Also nice outdoor area with large braai pit. Christelle was very helpful, providing clear info on how to enter the property and also notifying us in advance when loadshedding was scheduled.

What an Incredible birthday getaway for my partner. Solace is the perfect space for two people wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city life! The peace you find in the space is unmatched. Breath taking views, vast open spaces and the sweet, sweet smell of the citrus trees. The cabin itself was so nicely decorated with beautiful attention to detail. We loved that there were living plants all around the inside of the cabin. Extra blankets and cushions made it even more cozy and comfortable, with a wonderful air conditioning system to cool the cabin down after a blistering hot day. The gas braai, made for quick and easy dinners, which is precisely what one needs to enjoy time away. They even had a juicer, which was lovely for the oranges we bought…So refreshing!! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will surely be back as soon as we can.

If you want to experience a breakaway where you can have absolute peace and nature around you, while getting back to basics, rest well and enjoy a fire, a swim in a real farm cement dam, while sipping on a drink of your choice, this is the place to go. Solace, is what comes to mind.

It took us long to get there from Muizenberg but it was so worth it! The cabin was quaint and clean. We took our two dogs with and they were welcomed and we had a fence to keep them in. The property is beautiful with incredible walks/hikes. There are also a lot of options for swimming which is great in that heat! The hosts were also very welcoming. Thanks and we'll hopefully be back soon!

I highly recommend this place as a stopover between JNB and CPT. The accommodation had everything you could need for a comfortable and convenient stay. We also enjoyed the dinner, which was "boerekos" and absolutely delicious. The facilities include a swimming pool, but the real highlight is the animals. We were thrilled to see a................. , zebras, blue wildebeest, giraffes, and even a tortoise! I will definitely book this stopover again. It’s conveniently located near the main road, with only about 5 km of gravel road leading to the venue. Josef assisted us with the check-in, and both he and the cooking staff were fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again!

This place is an absolute must-stay for everyone! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a living painting: the views, the vibe, and the atmosphere are simply breathtaking. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you need for a perfect stay. What truly sets this place apart are the little details that make it feel like home: the friendly dogs, the adorable donkeys, and even the chickens you can cuddle. The food is incredible, the coffee is next-level (and also the coffee shakes and fresh juices), and every lunch felt like a treat. The owners and the host made our experience even more special with their warmth and hospitality. The massages were pure bliss, and to top it all off, the internet is lightning-fast: strong enough for remote working without any issues. Everything was beyond perfection, we could have stayed here forever!

Was such an incredible stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. A relaxing get away and one of the morning Jackobus took us on a tour of the farm and it was one of my favorite things. 10 STARS OUT OF 5! Haha
