Awesome place, great experience, will definitely recommend it.

Stayed over in Beaufort West to visit the Karoo National Park. This guest house is fantastic. A little oasis in an otherwise hot, dry town 😄. Room was super cool from the aircon when we arrived. Very clean and comfortable room. We lazed around the pool watching the bird life, being served G&T. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was lovely (maybe just a teeny bit expensive). Seems to be a very popular stopover for travellers en-route JHB or CT and I can see why. Highly recommended

Stop looking and book! This is the spot you are looking for. We wanted a Karoo experience and got it. Absolutely worth taking the trip to Williston, the easiest driving and no trucks. Just peaceful and quiet. The Ark is exactly what you want from a road trip. Like arriving in “Cars” Radiator Springs. Pieter and his family are the most accommodating host we’ve ever had. So much to do if you have family. We absolutely loved our overnight stop here and wish we had time for more.

Fantastic little spot with a view. The hosts Marlene and Michael are wonderful people and really make you feel part of the family. Convenient location.

Karen is an exceptional hostess who goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! She is very accommodating and makes you feel as if you have come to visit family/friends. Her home is beautiful and well equipped, and the location a hidden gem! The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Great attention to detail is made to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. A stay you will make one of your “must-returns” for the future.
