Frank's place was a nice little getaway for a decent price. Great location and lake access.

Lenora's place was just as described and looked like the pictures. The location was a little confusing because the address in AirBnB was for the middle building and the apartment was actually in the end building. I did have instructions from Lenora that told the correct building so we figured it out. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, we had trouble finding the indoor pool. We wandered around and then asked someone. There is an outdoor pool that you can walk to, which was closed since it was off season when we visited. The indoor pool and gym are in another section of the resort that you need to drive to. It would have been nice to have a printed map in the room that showed that. Lenora messaged information ahead of our visit, which was helpful. But I had messaged her in the airbnb app asking about the pool location and also about checkout, but I never got a response. We only stayed one day, so we just figured it out. Small, but worked for us. We loved the location. Would stay again.

We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

I loved staying here. The lake is beautiful, the loft feels cozy and welcoming and Denise stayed up late and welcomed us even though we got there late. Really felt like I was with family. The area around is cute. The only thing that would have made it better is maybe a bowl of snacks for people coming from far far away but I think next time I’m in town I’ll be coming back :)

The place was well kept and clean. Almost brand new! Just be aware that you will have to drive to most of the amenities. Also you will have to pay a $20 per person fee for the use of the amenities and that wasn’t mentioned prior to renting. We went to Bottles and Bites on a Saturday night and it was great!

My husband and I had a wonderful getaway to Smith Mountain Lake. Nicole's place was a cozy space full of all the things we needed for the weekend. The space was clean and comfortable.

This home was very nice, and the private little beach was perfect for our little kids. Home was clean and we had a great time. Only thing I would want other guest to know is that if you plan on cooking your meals like we did, you want to bring a cutting board and peeling knife with you and maybe some mixing bowls and spices. We managed but I would have brought all that had I known. I would still highly recommend this home.

This place was perfect for a few days of fishing at Smith Mountain Lake. It was very quiet, private and relaxing. The host was very helpful and everything was exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you are a fisherman with a boat as it was easy to park and you are only a few minutes away from the closest ramp. Bill was awesome and the place was great!

Really enjoyed our stay! One of the days was rainy and it was still great to just sit and read a book while looking at the lake. The main reason we booked this location was for the sandy beach area, it did not disappoint. Made it very easy to get our dogs in the water. And not have to take them to the park. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The also returned the dog cleaning fee very quickly which is always appreciated!! The dock is very well positioned for easy in, easy out should you want to rent a boat. The pictures are an accurate representation of the home. Easy to move around and a good seating. The deck is very large and can’t wait to see what they do with the reno in the spring!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again at this location in the future! The location is perfect, with convenient lake access and access to other nearby activities. The house is pristine & gives both vacation and homey vibes. Marsiela was responsive and easy to work with. I can't recommend highly enough and would definitely stay again in the future!

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property! The location on the water was absolutely perfect, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. We especially loved the outdoor areas, which were perfect for relaxing and chatting together. Whether it was morning coffee or evening conversations, the outdoor spaces made our stay extra special. Highly recommend this place for a serene and memorable getaway!

Beautiful house on the lake. The golf cart provided made was super helpful to get down to the lake! We would stay again.

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was on the beautiful lake. The screened in porch is a huge bonus. We had plenty of space for our bags and my son's toys. It was very kid friendly. They really thought of off the amenities you might need on vacation. We will definitely be back some day. Thank you for a great stay!

Stefan and Laura make you feel at home! They both were really nice and helpful all the time. The studio was amazing , if you want something different from the city this is a place to relax. I definitely recommend it.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!
