We were in town for our daughter’s performance at ISU. The location was close to the university and the home was clean and comfortable. We are already booked for another trip this fall!

As frequent travelers, we have encountered more than our fair share of subpar rental quality. However, this experience was entirely different. The owners’ care for providing an exceptional guest experience is evident in every aspect of the property. We eagerly anticipate future visits and highly recommend this rental to others seeking a memorable stay.

House was better looking than the pictures! It was perfect for a family with kids. The backyard was a perfect place for the kids to enjoy outside time. House was roomy and had everything we needed for a short stay to visit colleges in the area and visit with grandparents from out of town.

Lovely old brick home in a quiet neighborhood next to a garden that I bet is beautiful in the spring and summer. We were a little too early in the season to see any flowers and plants but you can tell it will be very nice in the warmer months. The home itself was very clean! It is an older home with lots of character and very comfortable. We slept very well. The main bathroom was large and clean and there was plenty of clean towels (that are very plush) and toilet paper. Bring your own soap and shampoo. If ever I have a need to stay overnight in Bloomington-Normal I will stay here. It was ideal!

Cute, cozy, and personable! It was quiet, and had everything my spouse and I needed for our one week stay. Would definitely book again!

Amazing house, calm area and still close to everything! We walked to uptown Normal for coffee, shopping, and enjoyed the campus area but it's also easy to access the house by car. The house is really great with lots of space for hanging out as well as getting some alone time if needed. There's outdoor space to enjoy meals and the garden. The kitchen is well equipped and has all appliances needed including a coffee machine, a coffee grinder and an espresso machine. If you're a tea drinker there's a kettle too! Our host Liz was very accommodating and helpful, giving us recommendations based on our interests! She helped us explore not only Bloomington/Normal, but Springfield as well as Chicago! We truly felt at home and would love to come back!

The house was absolutely amazing. Very close to our Daughter's house! The home was accomdating and my daughter was able to find it with ease! We have a new grandbaby so we will definitely be back! Thank you again!

My families stay at the Alice was wonderful. This was our first time as a family staying in an Air BNB. It was so nice to be together morning, noon and night not having to huddle in one persons room or the hotel lobby. The wonderful A frame window was a delight to view the fauna and flora in all its glory. It was spectacular not to have a glimpse of another person intruding on our time. Having a back gatet o walk to shopping made it even more convenient! One special touch is the guide book with the rules, amenities and quirks of the house. If that was not there you would not have been prepared for some of the unique things of the house. If I need a place in town again, I would choose this place!

Erin is a great host, and the home is charming. Would recommend this spot to anyone traveling through the area.

As soon as we stepped through the door, we felt right at home. We enjoyed the swing and sitting on the front porch. The surrounding neighborhood was fun to walk through with many historical, unique homes. The kitchen was fully stocked and every room was spotless. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for us to stay.

This cottage was cozy and fit my lodging needs perfectly during the conference I attended. The place is well maintained, spotless and tastefully decorated. Kimberly was a proactive and gracious host. Everything was as advertised with little touches made to add value. (Office space with printer, little snacks, bottled water and bagged ice already in the kitchen) Another thing which took me by surprise was the beauty of the neighborhood, its quietness and privacy. Would totally stay at this cottage again.

Great host will definitely be going back in the future
