Gorgeous, peaceful place to go when you’re looking for a quick escape from the city! The place was even more beautiful in person. The place was a little hard to find but once we found the place, check in was really easy. Johnny was friendly and welcoming, he was proactive and made sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub and the pool table were really great and it was nice to be able to stay up late and the sound doesn’t carry over to the bedrooms. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the Merganser, and still can’t wait to go back again. Would recommend to anyone.

The chalet was beyond our expectations! Very peaceful and a beautiful hidden gem. We needed a place to unwind and relax and not worry about life and what time of day it was and this place has it all! The art work is absolutely stunning!!Beautiful view of Island Pond from the fire pit spot too a gorgeous nite sky from the hot tub!!

Daniel’s place was more beautiful than the pictures. The Airbnb was immaculate. Super fresh and clean. A cozy hidden gem! We stayed for a weekend in the winter months for a hockey tournament and the kids absolutely loved it! I can only imagine how gorgeous it is to indulge in the summer months also. Daniel was a great host. Very sweet and responsive. I would absolutely recommend to anyone! Hopefully in the future, we can have the opportunity to stay again! Thank you, Daniel! 😊

This place was beautiful, nice and quiet! The house was clean and very cozy, highly recommend.

The place was quiet and picturesque, hot tub and views were great and the cabin was wonderfully stocked. The bluejays showed up each day to pay a visit which was super sweet!

Amazing spot right on the beach! We fell asleep listening to the waves and thoroughly enjoyed our little winter getaway (the hot tub is great!). We kept thinking how much fun this place would be in the summer when you can make full use of the surroundings.

Skipper’s lighthouse is like a little piece of paradise! From the look of the place and the view, then when you step inside it’s like you are almost taken back in time with all the treasures they have there. Except you have all of the current day amenities you would need. ♥️

Such a beautiful place! So quiet and peaceful. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and lots of extras. We were 100% satisfied with our stay and are looking forward to booking again in the future.

Gower was fantastic to communicate with during and before our stay. Very nice man and friendly. He had firewood laid out for us and offered us anything that we needed. He was very accommodating and the view was amazing at the cabin. It was cozy, clean, bed sheets were comfy and oh so peaceful. If we need a place to stay next time we will be back there. So much better than a one room hotel room. And again THE VIEW!!! Thanks Gower

What an amazing cabin in the perfect location to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from all the noise. The fall colours were unreal and was the perfect backdrop for the pond view. Chad was an outstanding host. This is a must do if you are looking for a quiet Newfoundland get away. We’ll be back for sure!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this sweet spot in Norris Point! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy and the kitchen well-equipped! We had a beautiful view of Neddie’s Harbour just steps away for early morning walks with views of the mountains all around. Barbecue was great and nice touches including the wool blankets and the growler to fill when in Corner Brook. And Elaine was wonderful - thank you so much Elaine! This place is absolutely gorgeous!! Aesthetics alone it would get a 10/10… it has a beautiful view of the pond from the hot tub/back patio! It’s quiet and private! The beds were super comfy as well! As a host Melissa went above and beyond!! First off she was able to accommodate an early check in which was amazing. Secondly, We went for my birthday and when we arrived there were birthday balloons hung up and a little gift box with hand made soap, peppermint scrub, etc. Just the most thoughtful little surprise. The whole place was spotless and you felt immediately cozy and at ease… like being in your own home! Highly recommend!

The Junction Lookout is a great way to spend a weekend - beautiful views in a clean and comfortable home. Emily was incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions (including emergency directions in a snow storm!). We’re looking to our next visit.

The cabin is well equipped and the view amazing! We didn't want to leave. We did have issues with the integration of the cabin address from Airbnb and apple maps. First it sent us to a different town (as hour away) and then when we cut and pasted the address it sent us to the correct street but #12 instead of 240. However Daphne rescued us and got us to the right spot!

Such an amazing place! Lots of room and an amazing view! Will definitely book again, especially in the summer time. Kids had an absolute blast there. Said it was the best weekend ever!

This private cottage was exactly what we wanted! We give it 6 stars! 5 for the cottage and an extra for the bunny! There was a fire ready to start in the fire pit when we arrived! Amazing! Clean, cute, cozy, comfortable!!! You will love it!

Great little spot for a weekend retreat lots of great local hiking trails really friendly communities , really enjoyed just sitting on the bridge relaxing

When we first walked into the cottage my family thought it was beautiful! They have lots of amenities there! 6 of us went and we were well taken care of! Communication was great! Such a sweet host. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone! Great for a nice little getaway! I also loved the sound of the water on the balcony! I’ll be sure to tell others. Thanks so much for having us and being great hosts!

Great place and very friendly. Recommended for a nice quite place to relax. Everything you need to cook is there!
