Clean, quiet, clear communication with Jennifer our host. The house centrally located to many activities. We had a wonderful short getaway and went rafting on the new river gorge. It was a wonderful time. We highly recommend it.

This cabin was perfect! A great way to spend a week with family. Peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be back!

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well kept. There were a lot of memorabilia related to the history of the cabin and farm. Hands down favorite part was the giant screened in porch with fireplace and hot tub. We even bought an air mattress to "camp out" one night on the porch. Best sleep I've had in years! Like every place in WV, it's a bit off the main roads, but that's the appeal. No traffic to contend with and quiet relaxation. Even with the drive, groceries and some restaurants are only about 20 min away. Would definitely go back.

I had an amazing stay! Gary was very responsive to messages and very friendly. The cabin was beautiful and in a very peaceful location! Very clean and well maintained! I would definitely stay here again!

Kaymoor was the perfect place to explore New River Gorge NP. Instructions to find it and get in were a breeze. It was a beautiful home and lots of room for our family of 5 adults. So many things to do with just a short drive from the home. We enjoyed the Endless Wall Trail, Miners Trail, the Bridge Walk, and taking the old road down and across the river. We ate at Pies and Pints in Fayetteville and grilled hamburgers on the deck in back of the house. We were only in New River Gorge 2 days and nights but wish we could have stayed longer to explore the other parts of the National Park. I guess we'll just have to come back to Kaymoor. Thanks Stephen and Pam for sharing your home with us!

This cabin was a perfect launch pad for our family weekend in WV--it's very close to everything. Country Road Cabins is a well-run and organized business. They have anticipated all of their guests needs. Communication is perfect--all expectations and amenities clearly spelled out; there is a binder in the cabin with restaurant and activity suggestions as well as hiking maps. In the past, we have stayed in places where the hot tub was not clean. Here, they clean after each guest and provide extra chlorine tablets. They are very responsive to any requests or issues you might have. Highly recommend this cabin!

Second time we have stayed and have enjoyed each. Large farm house, is starting to show its age but that adds to the character. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly, Only 6 miles from Fayetteville. Great place for a large group on a rafting adventure.

This place was amazing. Really enjoyed our time here. The house is very nice and location is awesome. Would definitely come back again!

Christine had issues with her cleaning staff so our check in was delayed but she communicated this to us. She was very apologetic, friendly and outgoing. Christine was so nice to allow us to stay past the checkout time. Thanks, Christine, for making us feel like family.

Great cabin that is very close to Gauley Fest location. I also love how secluded it was and it came with our own fire pit!

We loved our stay and was I extremely happy I was able to bring my elderly diabetic dog with me so I didn't worry about him while I was away celebrating my birthday with my family.

We loved our stay in the McGrath house! We were in town for a wedding at the Gaines Estate and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The home was exceptionally clean and full of thoughtful amenities. The neighborhood is super walkable - easy to get to restaurants and shops, even the public library! It is also walkable to the Gaines Estate itself, although we drove due to shoe choices and weather, it was nice to know we could walk back if we ended up celebrating too much to drive. It was also very convenient to be right across the street from Pies and Pints! We also stayed in Bill and Sally's other house in town, the Wiseman house, which connects to this house via the backyard and was a great way for our large family to stay together with plenty of space and privacy for all.

Carolyn’s place was a perfect getaway! Super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Carolyn was a wonderful host — friendly and responsive. We loved the peaceful setting and would definitely stay again!

We came down to whitewater raft and zipline with Adventures on the Gorge. The cabin was so close to Adventures on the Gorge. It is nice and secluded, and has everything you need for your getaway! The hottub was great after a long day of adventuring. The host gave great local recommendations and even stopped by our first night to see if we needed anything. Our two boys (10 and 12) enjoyed the woods around the cabin. The personal touches were amazing- fresh flowers on the table, fresh baked cookies, and souvenir glasses to take home! I have stayed many places, but this one is a favorite for sure!

This was our 2nd time staying here and both times were wonderful. Great location, extra clean and well stocked with essentials. The Host was very responsive. The front porch is great for morning coffee :)

Colleen was very clear with instructions and described in great detail how to find our way to her property, which is uniquely situated and yet near to so many special places. The beds were very comfortable, decor was tasteful. and outdoor lighting was muted but very beautiful. We particularly appreciate her devotion to mother nature; her garden includes many native plantings and the native trees that surround the property makes one feel the ambience. The comfortable deck thrusts right into the woods, giving lots of privacy and enjoyment of the songs of native and migrating birds. Being there made me wish our grandkids were on this trip, for they would have loved it as much as we did. Located in such a great spot is another plus: Private but also situated close to a cool town as well as the rivers and historic towns, it is a great jumping off spot for exploring.

Such a great place and host. Easy check in and out and, and excellent amenities! We highly recommend!

The cabin was in a fantastic spot. Woods surround the cabin and make it feel very private even though there are other cabins neighbors. The circular driveway made it easy for our cars to get in and out. There's a meadow on the other side of the driveway with chairs and a fire pit. Everything was sparkling clean, including the hot tub! They had lots of towels and all of the dishes we needed (pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils). The AC was great, we never ran out of hot water, and they had 2 refrigerators. We've stayed at a lot of cabins in this area of WV over the years and this is by far our favorite. We highly recommend it for large groups!

This stay surpassed our expectations. Everything Jerri had control over was perfect. The house is perfect. The communication was perfect. The closest 2 neighboring houses were very friendly and accommodating. The neighborhood felt safe once we got further up the lane and it opened up to a beautiful piece of land.

Lovely place for 7 of us! Very comfortable and beautiful views from second story porch.

Very quiet and peaceful. Will return another time.
