Getaway cottage on a private beach on the majestic Kootenay lake. Gorgeous view of the mountains and the city of Nelson. Right next to famous Pulpit rock hiking trail. From parking to home there are 5 stair cases & 112 steps, it's sadly not for mobility reduced individuals. If available, we ca help with your bags. Nelson is a very special city. It has many restaurants and store that offer organic foods as well as vegan options. Lots of artists and galleries to shop from or simply to visit.

The walkout basement offers an equipped mud room to dry out your gear and a rec room with a queen sleeper sofa + TV (can double as a semi private 5th bed). Max 6 ppl (incl infants). A lockable shed for your sport gear is provided. Please note that the home has a strict no pet/party rule. Approved non registered guests only (max 4).

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Enjoy a cozy beachfront fire pit with wood provided. This suite has the perfect location close to hot springs, golf courses, biking, fishing, skiing and enjoy all that Balfour has to offer. Conveniently located right next to the Balfour Ferry Landing, above Balfour’s most vibrant and locally owned restaurant The Landing.

Location, location, location ! Waterfront Log Cabins right by the water. Equipped for up to 8 guests ( one king, one queen and 4 twin extra long beds) but most comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Ideal for families and couples. Equipped with Telus 6 Wi-Fi, fire pit, picnic table, covered decks. A/C Dog friendly ($15 per dog/ per night). *During peak season, starting on June 27 and ending on Sept 4 -weekly rentals only/7 nights minimum, with weeks starting and ending on SATURDAYS.

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Tall Trees Kootenay Lakefront Vacation Suite

Arrive at Tall Trees down a long, winding driveway through thick, natural forest. Stroll down the lawns past epic organic gardens to our new 100’ dock on beautiful Kootenay Lake. Soak in the sun-drenched south facing view from our private bay & beach. Fire up the BBQ on the patio in front of your NEW, bright and spacious 2 bedroom suite. 6 night+ stay required between June 21 and Sept 7. 3 night minimum otherwise. NO SMOKING anywhere on property. Mature quiet dogs with prior approval OK.

Ainsworth Springs Suites - Kutenai Suite

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. The suite is spacious and features incredible lake and mountain views, a private deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and private access to a secluded beach. It is the perfect, quiet get-away. NOTE: Please check the hot springs website for further information about access to the hot springs. We are separate from the resort. Pet friendly ($20 pet fee per stay charged separately)

Blue Heron Beach House (Private Vacation Suite)

Relax in your suite with your own private 170 feet of beach on Kootenay Lake near Ainsworth Hot Springs and historic, eclectic City of Nelson. Three minutes from Kokanee Provincial Park and 10 minutes from the Balfour Ferry. Nelson is a twenty minute scenic drive along the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. Kokanee Zipline is a short 5 minute drive and we are on the doorstep of many famous mountain bike trails in Kokanee Glacier Park.
