Cabin is situated above a lovely stretch of beach, a perfect spot to catch the sun or launch your kayak or canoe. Enjoy quiet days paddling, fishing or swimming on this non-power lake or explore the wooded trails.

A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Walking distance to VIU, Aquatic Center, and Nanaimo Ice Center. We are centrally located but offer a quiet remote getaway.

The Lake is FIVE minutes through the forest's pathway across the rd. Mountain Biking/Hiking Trails, 6.2 km around the Lake, nearby Paddle-Board/Kayak Rentals. VIU, Downtown Core, Hullo Ferry and Waterfront, Conference Centre, Live Theatre, Shopping Malls conveniently close. Victoria 80 min, Parksville 29 min, Skiing at Mt Washington just 90 mins away!
