Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

I have visited Gangtok several times, and previously, I preferred hotels near MG Marg. This trip was different; I planned a road trip to Sikkim with my wife and daughter, so I needed a place in Gangtok with parking. This property met all my requirements, so I booked it. Upon check-in, my expectations for Airbnbs and homestays were exceeded. The cleanliness was exceptional, every item was perfectly placed, and all amenities were provided. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking. We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cookies. We had pre-ordered lunch, and our host prepared a wonderful chicken dish with homemade chutney, which surpassed my expectations. Our host was incredibly helpful. Whenever I return to Gangtok, I will certainly book this property again.

What an amazing stay, we couldn’t have wished for a more secluded and private week. The food was amazing and we were completely taken care of. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious and we loved playing badminton out in the garden. We cannot thank you enough for such a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone considering of staying at La Ipsing.

My recent stay at Pranati Homestay was truly unforgettable. The moment I arrived, I felt like I had come home. The homestay offers a cozy, peaceful atmosphere paired with breathtaking views of Kalimpong’s lush landscapes. Every corner of the property is well-maintained and spotlessly clean, reflecting the care and love put into this place. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden area, where you can sit back and enjoy meals surrounded by nature and a spectacular view of the hills. There's also a bonfire area, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. Superhost! Our stay at this homestay in Gangtok was truly wonderful! The property is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Nestled amidst nature, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the journey. The host was incredibly polite, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel right at home. We were lucky to visit during Diwali and got to learn so much about the local culture and traditions, which added a unique touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.
