Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Groot Letaba river and wake up to bird calls from our resident Green Turaco. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

Our expansive home in a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit is the perfect space to unwind and explore. Enjoy the passing-by of leopards, hyena, giraffes, warthog, buck of all kinds, mongooses, giant lizards and beautiful birds - all of whom make their way through our garden on a daily basis. Explore the Kruger National Park from multiple gate entries - the closest of which is just a short 30-minute drive away. Relax in the pool with a cocktail to the sounds of the bush, and slow down in style.

The (Solar) Bird House

This beautiful, solar powered cottage with a spacious patio, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country life with a real feel for nature. Apart from the mountain view you might also be fortunate enough to witness a warthog family passing by or even some small game grazing nearby. Relax and listen to the birds chirping. You may even hear the bush babies shrieking, lions roaring and hyenas whooping at night. We are central to many tourist attractions and only 27 km from Hoedspruit.

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night.
