Our private apartment is a lovely retreat on a country road with mountain views. Come rest and rejuvenate in our quiet getaway or enjoy a scenic walk. We offer a full efficiency with wifi, Dish, and flatscreen TV for your enjoyment. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, and private patio for your use. We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. Various orchards and historical landmarks dot the landscape. Come and enjoy!

This unique and secluded cabin sits on 75 acres in the Blue Ridge mountains. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

The Vixen House

This cozy and comfortable home is located within the charming Town of Amherst in a quiet neighborhood very close to Sweet Briar College. It is only a short drive from Lynchburg yet is also convenient to other area attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Mt. Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail."
