Cody’s place was very peaceful and private. The river and mountains provided a beautiful backdrop for our trip. The screened in back porch was great as we spent most of our time out there. We didn’t have much luck fishing in the river but that was the only downfall of our trip. We would gladly stay here again!

Absolutely peace parades. Away from the hustle and bulse of city life. Beautiful, swimmable, fishable large pond with a few paddle boats and row boat plus life jackets for adults and children. Nice, Full Length covered front porch with swing and rocking chairs for relaxation while watching the Humming Birds feed from the feeders. They have thought of everything. Inside nice and clean and they even provide Wi-Fi access as well as a laptop for your use. All the cooking gadgets, utensils and cookware needed for anyone working the kitchen plus cooking items like Fish Fry powder, flour, condiments for just about anything 2 coffee makers (single cup Kureg and 12 cup drip both with either Kureg coffee cups or regular ground coffee and filters.) There is just Sooo much that can be said and Rodger N mary went Above and Beyond what you'd experience in most any place you can think of. I forgot to mention the FARM FRESH EGGS they provide. 5 STARS - BIG 3 THUMBS UP. We'll be back!!!

What a beautiful getaway! Mason was incredibly helpful and my wife and I were blown away by all of the amenities and features both inside and outside. If you're looking for some peace, relaxation, and natural beauty, this is the place for you! We can't wait to be back.

I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! if ever a place earned a 1,000 stars, this is it! It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The decor is charming. the hosts were fabulous and attentive. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could desire. The view is great and there is so much to do on the grounds. We enjoyed pickleball a walking around the lake. We spent a lovely evening around a campfire made from the amply stocked wood pile. No attention to detail was spared and everything was impeccably clean. I have stayed at Air Bnbs all over the country and this one tops them all! I know this is a place I will be returning to over and over again.

Bill is the super host of super hosts. Despite some trying circumstances for each of us, he was the epitome of grace, kindness, friendliness, and caring. He really makes me feel like family. Me and my dogs. I felt so welcome in such an amazing house. Bill thank you as always.

Hap and Jennie's place is perfect! Spectacular views, stunning property, spacious rooms (with plenty of comfortable seating and super comfy beds!), stocked with everything you can think of and more...The games room was fantastic & the guide book was helpful...we could go on and on!! We also appreciated the opportunity to bring along our dog who also had a great time (she enjoyed listening to and watching the many birds as much as we did). Hap & Jennie were immediately responsive and informative any time we had questions, too. This is an outstanding place with phenomenal hosts and we hope to return. HIGHLY recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home—it truly felt like a home away from home. Wendy was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. She had everything you could possibly need or want already available, which made our stay even more comfortable. Even when we reached out a few times, she responded quickly and kindly every time. The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We had an amazing experience, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family retreat!

Had a great weekend at the Portage Lakes with our dogs. The host has great recommendations and easy to follow instructions. The doors get stuck and are noisy but to be expected with an older house, I would also recommend more throw blankets down stairs to help with the coziness. Thanks for being a great host.

We had a wonderful trip at the Airbnb. Marcy was a wonderful host and the lake/surroundings were beautiful! The Airbnb had everything we needed and more. We were able to have a lovely fire on the first night and go kayaking on the second day as well. The property was peaceful and the people (and dog Shaggy) were very friendly and accommodating. My now fiancé found the property so beautiful that this was where he proposed to me. After such an amazing weekend, we will definitely be returning! Thank you again Marcy for such an amazing experience!

Dear John.... Cozy Comfy Curious. If any of those aren't you, then I encourage you to expand your horizons and come have an Eye Spy unplugging on the apron of Leesville Lake. Walk the maze of tiny roads and transport randomly through time from now to then and back. Safe, friendly community. We enjoyed the switch from the suburbs. Our drive home up the curvy roads made us wonder how necessary is the strip mall corner RX, and et al really....the cabin is like a magic laso for your heart and soul. A longer toilet is all i ask....but its a heritage vibe...i get it. Thanks John!

Stephens place was great! We had a nice, quiet, and peaceful weekend away. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and just being able to have a break from real life. ❤️

We love Molly’s little cottage on their wonderful farm. It is so peaceful and the surrounding area is so beautiful and private. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a more well equipped kitchen….anything you could possibly need is provided! The hosts are so friendly and responsive, while also completely respecting your privacy. We definitely hope to stay again in the future. Truly one of our favorite airbnbs! =)

Sean went above and beyond to make our family feel incredibly welcome, and he was willing to accommodate a particular request that we made so that we could personalize our time in Mercer for our family. We are so thankful for being able to bring our family to Sean‘s place, and we will always hold it as a special place in our families’ memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakewoods Cottage in Howard. It was a wonderful cozy cottage in a quiet community. We did not have much time at the cottage as we traveled to the area for the Keystone State Championship Wrestling Tournament at PSU and spent much of our time sitting in the venue seating. Having this cozy, clean and comfortable cottage to retreat to was exactly what we needed. We very much enjoyed the outdoor cooking area and the quiet neighborhood allowed us to sleep peacefully and wake up to the Spring bird sounds. And being just down the street from Brothers Pizza - the best Italian around - was an extra bonus! Thank you Bonita and family. We look forward to visiting again!

We booked last minute and this place was very peaceful and the host was quick to respond. Would visit here again based on our experience and the surrounding beauty.

I needed a place to reset, reboot, and revisit my favorite trails. This was tucked in off the road to give privacy and peace I was looking for. The floor to ceiling windows afforded an amazing view of the stars at night while laying on the very comfy couch. There are alot of games available for various ages. The skeeball game was so much fun. I was unable to use the fire pit due to rain but it was cozy and again afforded a great view of the sky at night. I loved the gym equipment upstairs. The TV was easy to navigate and had a lot of apps. The scenery was tranquil and beautiful. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of cooking along with the grill outside. This was well worth it. I loved the little journal she had for all the guests to fill out. It was so clean and no signs of any rodent or insect visitors noted inside. Inae responded promptly and was very welcoming. This was the best vacation I have had in a long time, basically because of this special nugget of a cabin.

Great Cabin for a weekend getaway. Cozy, great lawn with fire pit, good beds etc. - everything you’ll expect from it is there and the photos tell you exactly what it will be. Wardensville is a cozy little town and the hiking optiona in the area were plenty and beautiful. .

What an unforgettable getaway! This charming cabin is perfectly situated right on the river, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. We were thrilled to find kayaks and a canoe available for our use, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The fire pit area was a delightful spot to gather in the evenings, and having both gas and charcoal grills made cooking meals a pleasure. We spent our days fishing and relaxing in the hot tub, which was a wonderful way to unwind after our adventures. The cabin's kitchen was impressively equipped with all the utensils and appliances we could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cozy fireplace added a warm ambiance to our evenings, creating the perfect setting to reflect on our day filled with activities. This place truly is a hidden gem! Book now!

Just got home from our little get away. The cabin was wonderful! Had everything we wanted. The view waking up to from the bedroom window was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you could need and the view from that huge picture window was beautiful! We enjoyed the large hot tub and made good use of the pool table. The weather wasn't the best and got a little chilly but the fireplace helped with that. This weekend was exactly what we needed....Beauty, relaxation and peace! Thanks Mark!

The perfect place for a single father to take his two little girls. The cabin is very unique with amazing views. A well stocked kitchen and plenty of firewood to burn at the fire pit. Really awesome hiking trails. The pond was our main area of interest as we caught and released frogs, toads and salamanders. We also enjoyed canoeing around the pond. I couldn’t have asked for a more well rounded environment to truly introduce my girls to the outdoors while still having access to the modern day commodities. A home run if you truly want to introduce the family to the outdoors but not feel stranded. The Host was super welcoming and polite while being very proactive when coming to any type of communication. I couldn’t say thank you enough for providing such a great experience.

Stayed here for half of spring break. Place was clean and had a lot of great amenities. There were a few things that were a little confusing when we checked in but the host responded very quickly and all things were completely resolved. Close to Luray Caverns, workable for some beautiful hikes in Shenandoah, and right on the river. We really enjoyed our time. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in the area.
