The loft is located in Rua da Vitoria 392, near Rua das Taipas, in a very typical neighborhood of Porto, right in the heart of the historical center, classified as World’s heritage by the U.N.E.S.C.O. This lovely flat is in a restored build, it is very bright space. This apartment consists in a full furnished kitchenette, equipped with fridge, microwave, 4 ring electric hob and oven, kettle, toaster and all stuffs you need to cook a perfect meal. There is a living room with a sofa bed, an open bedroom with double bed and a mezzanine with two single beds. The bathroom is with shower. The space has air conditioned so it is warmed during the cooler months and fresh during summer times. We provide you towels, sheets, shampoos & soap and air dryer. It is ideal for two/four people. We also provide cots for babies. We are close to the main city’s attractions, just to say, about 50 mts ahead, you can find one of the best panoramic view of the city; We are 5 minutes walking from Ribeira, the Clerigos Tower, that is the ex-libris of the city, about 10 minutes walking from the main square, Aliados and from the principals connection with transports (Check the map). By the way, If your idea is coming by car, don’t worry, you could park in the street, is safe and free; eventually there is a paying park close to us. The night life is near but we are in calm and quiet zone. You can find very good restaurants around, but when you check in we can provide you a lot of tips about where you eat, drink and about what you can see. We have a little guide about the city inside the flat; if you want we can provide you a touristic guide (She knows a lot about the city!!). If you like parties and share “a pura vida de Porto”, we recommend staying here during the folk S.João (23-24/06) and S.Roque ( August), you eat, drink, sing and dance with us! To reach us, there are a lot of options: -Metro - line E-Violet (Aeroporto – Estádio do Dragão), then go out inTrindade station and catch another metro to S. Bento (yellow line). The Andante ticket needed for this journey can be purchased at any of the automatic ticket machines in the Metro station – occasional ticket (Z4). It costs 2.30€, is valid for 1 hour and 15 minutes and is also rechargeable. If you come by metro then you have to walk all the Rua das Flores, then turn right on Rua de Ferraz and go up till you arrive Rua da Vitória, then turn left and walk more 5 minutes till you find the apartment. (10 minutes walking). -To get to the city center by bus, you can take either line 601 or 602, the last stop is 5minutes walking from the apartments, they stop at Cordoaria and you just need to go down Taipas Street (on the right side of Centro Português de Fotografia – cpf), until you find Vitória Street. (05:00am-12:00pm). In this case, you can buy a single trip ticket on the bus, costing 1.80€. -Another option is to take a taxi which costs between 20/25 €. We don’t live there but we are often around to receive other guests; in case of troubles, in the common stairs, you can find a little box within a cell phone with our contact and you call us for free.
