MIMAROPA: eco lodge

Had to find a place last minute after Scuba diving . Myra's team were so helpful getting me a great little ocean front cottage and provided a delicious breakfast and coffee in the morning.

though it's kinda far from the sea, we did enjoy the stay and the walk. it's near the bank, police station, terminal, food park at the beach. the staff are friendly.

Absolutely amazing stay here! Can’t fault the place, beautiful garden with amazing attention to detail. Free breakfast every day which was beautiful, the cook was amazing and the food was really nice and affordable. There is also a gym on site that costs 70 pesos if you stay here, and this gym has everything you could look for. We would definitely stay here again, the place has a real family, community vibe to it and I have no bad words to note about this place. I would recommend staying here for a peaceful, nature experience in El Nido.

Wonderful location and super friendly hosts. I would definitely go again. Unfortunately the water didn't always work but the hosts helped us and did everything to provide water for us. The beach was extremely beautiful and completely empty. It truly felt like heaven.

Very nice place to stay. We woke up early every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise right from the resort. The owner Myra is lovely, she treats you like family. Many things to do like scooter riding and boat trips. Food is goood, from breakfast to dinner! We will definitely come back here. Thank you! X Mark and Laura

Great views, very close to 3Ps dive centre, and a couple small Sari Sari shops around. Aircon is loud, but works!

Thank you for accomadating us, as early as 9am. The owner was very responsive and he really made sure we are enjoying our stay. We enjoyed the island tour as well as the beach front in the morning. It was just sad the power went off that night, I know its not within your control, but I would suggest like a generator probably for times like this. But, overall, our experience were great. Thanks for taking us to Hingguin Falls as well and to Ate Weng, who assisted us in all our cooking needs.

Five-star host! Ms. Amour helped us arrange a transportation to pick us up from a distant town with a very short notice and it was already late in the evening. We can’t take her enough for her kindness. The property is exactly the same as shown in the pictures and within walking distance —literally just next to Maximum Free Dive (the best coaches for free diving course/experience). All the staff were very kind and accommodating—they went beyond their call of duty. Definitely recommend the place if you are planning a trip to Mabini, Batangas (especially if you want to try the free diving experience). Thank you Ms. Amour and to the whole staff of Rustique Rue.

We absolutely loved our stay at Makarios! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was so peaceful and calming – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always friendly and helpful. Our room was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities we could need. We needed a break, and Makarios delivered exactly what we were looking for: pure relaxation. A highlight was the fantastic feeding and fishing experience – the chef even cooked our catch! It was so yummy and fresh. The calming ambiance, delicious food, and friendly service created the perfect escape. Highly recommended!

So happy to have found this pet friendly place at short notice. The host is very responsive and accommodated my early check in request for which I’m grateful. The place is beautiful and serene. Far from the madding crowd. The room was very clean, had a nice modern bathroom with really good shower pressure, great pillow top mattress which I always appreciate for a comfy sleep. I love the view from the room: sea to sky, very picturesque. The restaurant on site served good food and service is great. Good internet connectivity at the restaurant and rooms. We hope to stay here again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful place just outside of this is it! Everything was awesome. The staff if very helpful. On site restaurant was great. Fishing pier was a great place to hang out. The room was cozy and clean!

Amazing staff, comfortable room and bed, amazing dive sites nearby. I'd stay there for 6 months if I could. everything and everyone is very authentic. I had 3 meals a day for a reasonable price. during my stay I worked so I paid to always have internet (its a prepaid internet plan therefore they need to "load" it). whenever I needed assistance with arranging something local, the staff always happily helped. long story short, great place for backpackers, digital nomads, remote workers, etc.
