I am so incredibly happy to have found this amazing piece of land. Raul made everything so easy. The house is so much better than the pictures. It’s just so hard to get into words and pictures how amazing this place is. I felt like I got teleported to heaven for a night. I will forever look for this place when booking.

The cabin was great! The peaceful surroundings, immersed in nature, were a perfect escape, and the proximity to various activities in the area was a bonus. The thoughtful touches throughout the cabin added a warm and welcoming feel and made our stay memorable. We greatly appreciated the helpful tips for exploring the area and the detailed instructions, which enhanced our experience. It was wonderful getting to know this place, and we hope many others have the chance to enjoy it as much as we did.

There may not be any other place in California that combines serenity, quiet, isolation and comfort like this place, not to mention lake access. Heather puts in a huge amount of effort to maintain the cabins and the area as a whole. I came here in order to recover from some health issues and could not have asked for a better place. Pure healing and pure relaxation. The style / ambience of the cabins is lovingly curated to the last detail.

I enjoyed my stay in this cute cottage in the woods. Daphne was a super responsive host. I felt right at home.

I can’t say enough about Helen and her wonderful place. I would highly recommend. We came all the way from Texas to visit my husband’s birthplace. I left feeling so inspired by the calmness, the beauty, not just from the area, but also from Helen’s beautiful landscaping. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was an amazing experience.

Nancy's place was like a little haven off the beaten path. Super peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful surroundings. It was awesome to be able to be able to just sit in nature. It was far enough from town that you barely ever heard anyone else around. But close enough to drive to the many beautiful things to see in and around Mendocino. Nancy was a very welcoming and great host! She gave me tons of information in regards to things to check out on my way down the coast. Absolutely would recommend this place! I definitely hope to return again sometime.

Second time staying here, and still one of my favorites! Rustic and homey, sort of glamping but so cozy. Thank you for another great stay!

The cabin was wonderful, very cute and cozy in a beautiful location. Just a couple minutes from where you park the car, but feels like you’re fully in nature, in a forest, far from civilization. Really adorable cozy place and Rosey was always very responsive, very friendly and very accommodating! Will definitely be booking this place again for another weekend getaway!

We had a great time staying at this listing in Gualala! Off Hwy 1, yet close to shops and a few restaurants in this quaint town. Walking around the trees and being able to walk to the coast was perfect for out 2 day getaway! The cabin was cozy and comfortable, kitchen was stacked with everything we needed to cook during our stay. Would love to visit again sometime!

We love Barking Rocks Cottage! If you are looking for a private, peaceful, comfortable cozy little cottage hidden on the California cozy, this is the place. I just loved cooking in the well-stocked kitchen with ocean views and watching my kids fly kites in the front yard. Host Kelly always responds quickly and is so helpful and friendly. We’ll be back!

Brenda and Butch were very welcoming and helpful with directions. The property is beautiful and better than imagined. Spent lots of time relaxing, floating and swimming at the river. (Chevy Silverado 4x4 made the river access very easy.) We also loved fishing for bass in Brenda’s pond! The cabin had all the essentials. We were able to make wonderful meals on the bbq with a breathtaking view. A bald eagle frequented the valley and we held hope to see a bear, but only saw tracks. We really enjoyed our stay at Carley Ranch and we’ll be back! Thanks Brenda and Butch!

Nika's place, the Artist Studio was well equipped, clean and warm as outside temps dipped into the lower 30's. Great outside shower accessible from the inside bathroom, so it didn't fell like going outside at all. We had a great time. We were three which worked out well.

Holly’s place was lovely. My husband and I arrived late at night, and even so, the directions were clear and the home easy to find. The location is peaceful and relaxing with a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed the nature and seeing the local wildlife like deer in the area. The bed and pillows were super comfy! We loved that the t.v. swiveled from couch to bed. The amenities were well thought out with heat lamps in the bathroom and a space heater in the closet. We had a little hiccup with the Keurig, but Holly dropped off another one for us to use very quickly! Shower water pressure was great and the water was nice and hot. The location is perfect with very short drives to both Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Holly left local recommendations for places to eat. We tried a couple and were very happy with our experience. My husband and I enjoyed this location for our 3 year Anniversary and highly recommended it to anyone. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding unit in a quiet location with easy access in and out. Fast and efficient communications with the host. No complaints! Would absolutely rent again on a future trip.

Peter’s place is brimming with authenticity. The pictures don’t do it justice — it’s cozy, warm, and full of heart. You can truly feel the love that built this home. The large window looks out onto a beautiful native landscape filled with tanoaks and blooming rhododendrons. We walked his property and even found two types of native orchids! Peter kindly started a fire for us without us even asking and made us feel incredibly welcome. The kitchen had everything you could need, all natural — no Teflon in sight. A huge bonus: no stinky plug-ins or heavily-scented linens. Everything felt fresh and clean. We can’t recommend it enough!

My family and I enjoyed our time at this cabin. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for your amazing hospitality. I would love to recommend this place to my friends.

Host was very responsive and helpful. We ran into her and had a lovely chat and gave us plenty of info on the area and cool spots to check out. Was a great weekend getaway. Highly recommend. The place was very unique and tidy. Everything has a purpose and felt right at home.

Love, love, love this tiny house retreat! Every little detail has been thought out and the result is a beautiful, relaxing, stylish aesthetic. It's a great location, close to downtown Boonville, but also feels very pastoral and calm. We appreciated the fine linens and delicious coffee and meeting Ozzie the dog. I would highly recommend this Anderson Valley getaway. Thank you, Martha, for a great stay.

This place is beyond words! I promise you can spend a lifetime here and still find new things every day that will amaze you, from their unique design of the space to the fresh picked flowers, a basket to pick your own eggs in the morning, flowers in your living and bathroom space that will make you fall in love and feel enchanted, to the amazing places to hike and get lost and take in spectacular views! You cannot miss out on the opportunity to stay here! This place is heavenly and even though you feel away from it all, you are close to great eats and all of the recommendations are available for you upon arrival to take the guess work out of it! So much thought has gone into this place so that you can just hit book and ENJOY!

Glen and Suzanne are wonderful hosts, and their place is spotless. It's conveniently close to downtown Mendocino and scenic nearby trails. The two miniature horses are absolutely adorable—we had a fantastic time hanging out with them! I would definitely love to stay here again.

We loved escaping to this retreat for the weekend. The Water Tower was very unique and Rob and Elsa has thought of so many nice touches to facilitate relaxation of all of your senses during your stay. I would definitely recommend!

Great location. Loved the usage of abalone for decor. Clean & Private home. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
