My family and I had an incredible stay at Gower’s Airbnb. Honestly, it was even nicer than I expected. This property offers a true California experience that’s incredibly hard to find. I’ve driven along Highway 1 many times, always thinking how amazing it would be to spend time on that beautiful coastal land you see from the road, and this property delivers exactly that. We had lunch and dinner overlooking sweeping views of untouched coastline and the beach below. There’s an easy path down to what felt like a private beach (we didn’t see another soul the entire time), and we spent hours exploring the black sand, walking the shore, and checking out the tide pools at low tide. The whole time, I kept thinking how rare and unspoiled this experience is. Gower has created an incredible home, thoughtfully designed with all the comforts you could want right in the middle of some of the most beautiful land in the world. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

An unbelievable experience - the place has an unbeatable view and is just stunning all around. Can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb - would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a relaxing getaway.

I plan on staying here again in the future. I needed a much needed local getaway to reset from the hustle and bustle of every day life. This delivered and more. Every day was a struggle to want to leave the house because the views were absolutely breath-taking. Since food options are limited in the surrounding areas, I recommend getting groceries before hand because you'd want to cook and share meals at this house. I'm itching to go back as soon as I can!

Brenda and Butch were very welcoming and helpful with directions. The property is beautiful and better than imagined. Spent lots of time relaxing, floating and swimming at the river. (Chevy Silverado 4x4 made the river access very easy.) We also loved fishing for bass in Brenda’s pond! The cabin had all the essentials. We were able to make wonderful meals on the bbq with a breathtaking view. A bald eagle frequented the valley and we held hope to see a bear, but only saw tracks. We really enjoyed our stay at Carley Ranch and we’ll be back! Thanks Brenda and Butch!

Our overall stay was absolutely amazing — we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We brought our little ones with us, and ever since the trip, they’ve been begging to go back. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, the views were breathtaking, and we will definitely be returning!

Loved our stay and the house was fantastic, the couches and chairs in the common areas were very uncomfortable and I wish there was an outdoor relaxing/ eating space. The views and beach access were amazing.

Wendy’s place is absolutely spectacular. It was a well needed private & quiet time with a private lake among vineyards! We have started planning when to come back here again as soon as we stepped in. Wendy is also such an amazing host. She went above and beyond to help plan for my wife’s birthday. I can’t recommend this property enough! You must experience it!

Great apartment with a stunning view, in the best location. Mary is lovely and very communicative. Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend.

Great place, is bigger than the photos. Kitchen was pretty clean but we needed to get some things like aluminum foil, parchment paper etc. Baking trays were available. The view is unbeatable and the spacious living room, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms made it feel like a luxury. We could see the ocean from two bedrooms, living room, even the kitchen stove had a large mirror to be able to see the ocean! We could see the ocean from the hot tub, it was great! The home does not have a fire pit (in case anyone else gets confused like us) :D

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery. The home is comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was amazing, it had all the amenities we needed. We walked to Maritime Cafe, visitor center and Artist's collective. The Elk Store is just across the street. There is a short walk to parking lot to walk down to the beach.

We had a pleasant stay. The property is close to Mendocino and points north. There were some adjustments we had to make, but they were on us — taking off shoes, bringing freezer food when they didn’t mention a freezer, the size of the space. It is not a hotel suite, but it is close to where you want to be in Mendocino and environs.

From my mother who stayed here with my family for my wedding at Switzer Farm: “Westport is a lovely little town and Westport landing did not disappoint. It is a wonderful home that you can tell is loved by its owners. We loved waking up listening to the ocean and the views were breathtaking. There is everything you need in this home. Fully equipped kitchen, toys , puzzles and activities for kids. There is even a piano for those of you that play. We didn’t spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors because we were there for a wedding but I’m sure that would be fabulous. We did enjoy watching the cute family of foxes living behind the home that visited us on a daily basis. Our 4 year old granddaughter commented on the way out how much she would miss them. Magical home and magical wedding. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.”

Absolutely incredible stay! This cliff house in Albion was hands-down the highlight of our entire trip. The view is something out of a postcard waking up to the ocean crashing below and sunsets that stopped us in our tracks every night. The house itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We spent hours just relaxing on the deck, soaking it all in. Plus, the local food scene was surprisingly awesome lots of fresh seafood and charming spots nearby. We didn’t want to leave! Can’t recommend this place enough. Something magical about a woodstove with the sound of the ocean nearby.

this was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway! not only was the house equipped with everything for any kind of home made meal, it was very clean and modern in a beautiful location! you cannot beat the view. bruce was extremely helpful and kind! highly recommend booking this hidden gem!!

What a magnificent home with the most beautiful ocean views we’ve ever had along the coast. The house was a perfect size for 6 adults. The kitchen is well-accessorized. It was a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family. The stunning views left us speechless!

Wonder Waves is one of the best houses we’ve stayed at in Irish Beach. It had everything we needed and beautifully kept. We will definitely rebook on our next anniversary vacation to California.

This place was beautiful, homey, relaxing, and all around an exceptional stay. Lisa, the host, was very responsive and kind. The place is in the heart of Mendocino Village yet very quiet and private feeling. We will stay again!

This was my first Airbnb and Debra has defiantly set a high bar ! The house was beautiful, clean, in a great location, and had plenty of amenities. There were lots of things to keep the kids entertained. Debra was also very responsive and provided clear instructions. There are helpful notes and binders around the house as well! Beautiful location right on the coast. Wonderful views from the deck and hot tub. You didn’t need to leave the property feel like you were on vacation.

Mike & Eula’s loft is a perfect getaway. The views a location are spectacular. We stayed there with our daughter for Spring Break to rest and relax. The loft has all the conveniences you would ever want. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We recommend bringing your own shampoo and soap, since only one set of small hotel soaps were provided. Being right on Main Street made it easy to explore and shop. The balcony was a great place to eat our home cooked meals Al Fresca . We will definitely be back to enjoy Mendocino and the loft.

Beautiful place!!! We really enjoyed the sounds of waives crashing against each other and how roomy the house is! House is close to everything and not far of a drive to all the locate beaches!!!

This is one of the best AirBNBs I have ever stayed in. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable, with hand-crafted custom touches throughout. The view to the ocean is absolutely lovely. I stayed here with my husband, toddler, and mom, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The house exceeded our expectations, which were high. The location is excellent - extremely close to Jug Handle State Park and of course a short drive away to Ft. Bragg or Mendocino. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen seemed well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at Ted’s place. The home and grounds are stunning, and in a close location to a beach and short drive to town. Ted was very helpful and the trip went smoothly. Highly recommend!
