Surrounded by old growth forests, this secluded getaway sits on 4 acres for you to explore. Oh and don't forget to look up! Our guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the spectacular Aurora Borealis. You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity,running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!

Drummond Island - Whits End Boathouse

Welcome to Whit’s End on beautiful Drummond Island! We are excited to share our boathouse with you here in the historic Whitney Bay area. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to Loons and watching nearby freighters navigate Lake Huron. The sunsets over Whitney Bay are truly spectacular. The living space is located on the second floor of our renovated boathouse. We run a small pottery shop on the main level, so you may notice occasional activity during the day.

The Ol' Peck Place

The Ol' Peck Place is a new build on an old landscape. Be taken back to the simplicity of nature at this peaceful haven. Explore scenic drives, starry nights, amazing sunsets, bonfires, fishing, kayaking, swimming and endless ATV trails. The view from the cabin boasts many beautiful sunsets and occasional Northern Lights. *Guests aged 18 and older are charged $100 per additional adult (per person, per night) for each guest beyond 4; children 17 and under are free.

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.

Manitoulin Permaculture Lotus Belle Tent

Welcome to Manitoulin Permaculture! We are an eclectic community of infectiously warm and welcoming humans that are exploring ways of living that nurture each other and the land we share. We recently created a private, lakeside "glamping" space for guests. A queen bed with linens and bedding is provided for your stay. There is a private composting toilet next to your tent.
