The Cottage (Daniel’s Other Place)

Come feel at home in this affordable, peaceful, unique, clean, and centrally located cottage. Located just behind Daniel’s Place (our other Airbnb) Mollie and I personally manage our properties. We strive to create a great experience and make sure to treat our guests with respect and gratitude for choosing to stay with us! Whether you’re on your way to a destination and need a place to crash, here for a ski trip, kayaking, a show at the Grand, or just exploring, we are happy to host and help!

Shalom Retreat

Enjoy a stay in the cottage in the big woods! The lane leading to it winds a half mile back from the road. This place will be a highlight because of everything from the spacious yard surrounded with woods, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, open, cozy living room and cute bedrooms. It is a family friendly place including a Foosball table, board games and toys. Also has a picnic table and backyard fire pit (firewood included) or you can choose to grill your favorites on the covered back porch.

Relaxing nature getaway with all the amenities

Secluded, 2000 sq ft Main level of home, cathedral ceilings, Relaxing country retreat awaits, walking distance from Lake Dubay. Enjoy the sounds of nature & wooded walking trails, Camp fires with wood provided. 20 minutes from Granite peak ski resort! 20 minutes from Wausau, Stevens Point and Marshfield. Just off snowmobile trail. Fresh eggs and produce available when in season. House comes fully furnished. 15 minutes from CWA airport. Hunting could be available. Doggy care near by!

My place is close to the city center, art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, and parks. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the location, the coziness, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. We only live a mile away, so please contact us if you need anything during your stay!

Stainless steel fire pit in backyard with firewood available for free. 5 min drive to Granite Peak ski resort, Aspirus, and downtown.

Bliss on the Lake

This quiet, 4 bedroom lake house is not only on the water, but a short, five minute drive to Rib Mountain Skiing, a three minute drive to a boat launch, as well as everything Rib Mountain has to offer; shopping, restaurants, night life, and various outdoor activities. It has everything you need to make your holiday warm, comfortable and full of bliss! Cleaning fee credited for all stays 7 days or longer. We can also set up the basement living room area to be a work space.

Lake Front Cabin-East

Located on the southeast side of Mayflower Lake, this getaway is 65' from the water with a 23' dock shared with up to one other guest, fire ring, and grill. The cabin, one of two, is a functional, newly remodeled approx 400 sq ft design with your vacation in mind! Swim, kayak, paddle-board (both free to use) & fish! Minutes from other fishing lakes, snow mobile trails, Ice Age Trail, Eau Claire Dells, golf courses, casinos, and Mountain Bay Trail. 30 min from Granite Peak.

Higgins' Homestead

Experience a quiet, relaxing stay at in a charming little home! Only 1 mile from downtown Wausau, WI. with easy access to restaurants, local YMCA, coffee shops and more! Renovated 3 bed, 1 bath with A/C and elegant maple hardwood floors. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry area, as well as a pleasant fire pit surrounded by strawberries! Queen sized beds in two bedrooms, and a futon in the third. We provide all that you need, to just show up and enjoy a relaxing stay!

Burks Bungalow - 3 bedrooms & Entertainment space

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Near hospital, Wisconsin classic Pond Hockey, golf course, Granite Peak Ski Hill, Sunnyvale Softball park, whitewater course, restaurants, bars and gas station. Burks Bar across the street has an amazing backyard patio, pizza and other finger food. The Little Rib River runs through the backyard for easy access to snowmobile trail and potential kayaking.
