Edmond’s place is actually even better than expected. It’s bigger in real time than the photos show. It is very comfortable and so quaint above the bakery. It was super quiet being above a bakery and across from the ferry. We heard no bothersome noise at all. The beds and linens are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, there is nice comfortable furniture, and we felt right at home. As others have said, the bakery coupon is an extra touch that is classy and honestly just fun! I would stay again and struggled to leave. Thank you for such a lovely home away from home. Do not hesitate to stay here. Very convenient location. BIG FAN!!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Our first visit to the island was more than expected, very fun to find places like this still exist in this country. Relaxing and beautiful and a great adventure. Thanks Mary Beth and Mike for all the suggestions and great chats. This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The Getway is a great stay. It’s located in the upper floor of the home, so Sue was only ever a moment away if we needed anything. She also is a wealth of knowledge as a lifelong Island resident, and we had a great time talking to her about the area. Very easy to walk to the grocery, the ferry, or downtown!

Fantastic place to stay for a nice private and comfortable life.. we stayed for 2 nights and place exactly matches the description. Coming to host, Rose is one of the best hosts i ever had so far. She is very interactive and loving. We reached the place very early but still allowed us to do early check-in. It was a sudden trip to beaver island so we couldn’t take our car or rent one in the island. she asked how we are traveling to & fro, about the rentals and all and suggested rental option and followed up on the same. I highly recommend this place and planning to visit back AGAIN and AGAIN….

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lem's Paradise! The place was exactly what we needed for the five of us. Deb even brought us home-baked cookies when we arrived! Such great hospitality and we enjoyed meeting them. Their property is beautiful and well maintained, plus it was so peaceful and scenic! Note: Be sure to bring bug spray to help ward off the biting flies down along the shore of the lake!

We enjoyed our stay! Great view in the Elk House overlooking the lake. Being that I was working in the area, it was nice having the washer and dryer in this unit. New appliances were noted by my wife! Would certainly stay here again!

Well appointed and comfortable home with gorgeous views and plenty of space for the family. Games and plenty of towels and blankets were great added touches!

It is the perfect vacation place. This place has direct lake access with scenic peaceful surroundings. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cherished each moment we spent. Barbara's place feels like home with thoughtful attention to details. Especially if you are traveling with a big group or kids, she has provided enough toys and supplies like kitchen/bath towel, coffee etc. Highly recommended Just one thing to mention, the King bed is on a lofted bedroom which does not have four wall enclosure like regular rooms. I think this is a Michigan architecture style and looking carefully at the pictures you can easily figure it out. So something to be careful about for a big group

Beautiful place! Our group of 10 had a great time! Sunrises were amazing and the views of Mackinac Island were beautiful! There was enough seating in the kitchen and on the deck which was a huge plus!! Loved the space and the yard and that it is right on the water!

Spectacular stay. Great views. All the comforts of home. It’s clear Donald and Monique care deeply about creating a great experience. Will certainly be back again.

The Condo was spotless and in a peaceful location. Stocked with what you need. Nice view from the balcony off of living room. Close to Mackinaw City. Only 4 or 5 minutes to restaurants and ferry to Island. Would book again if we are in the area. Bridgett was a great host. Would definitely recommend.

It was just what we thought. Holiday weekend for our first trip. This was a convenient spot to come back to and relax. Very clean, comfortable. 4 Adults were not crowded. Owner responsive for a few questions. Happy with stay.

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

Our stay was lovely. The condo and property in general were very well kept, the pool looked nice, and there is a nicely maintained fire pit /seating on the water! It’s right on the Straights looking towards the bridge. Inside was clean and comfortable, cozy without being small. The kitchen was big and fully supplied. Plenty of room and kitchenware to cook a great meal. I would stay here again, and we’ll leave it at that. Thank you!

Bridget’s condo is beautiful, perfectly appointed, comfortable furniture, loved the outside space and garage. The pool is super nice…. All around just a very nice, comfortable apartment- look forward to returning!!

We often stay at hotels on Mackinac Island, but this Condo just outside Mackinaw City was absolutely perfect for this trip. Pristine and comfortable. Communication with Host through the app was easy, and there was a local property manager (Carol) who coordinated check-in and was also very helpful. We made several day trips to the Island (multi-pass was available at Sheplers Ferry) and enjoyed relaxing by the pool/beach area in the evenings. This unit is a great option for families. If you have a rainy evening, Bridget has a fantastic selection of DVDs and some fun board games. We would highly recommend Bridget’s place, and hope to stay again someday. In the summer, the City has a fireworks display every Saturday nite (about 10:15pm when we were there) and you can see from the beach looking toward the city. You will need mosquito spray in the evening, but bugs were not a problem during the day.

We loved our stay so much that we plan to return. Great location and truly awesome hosts! Amazing views and Lake Huron access. We loved our stay here! Thank you very much!!
