The home was in excellent condition and exactly as described. The host was prompt with answers to our questions and gave us impeccable instructions for parking and entry. House was well lit from the outside with excellent security features. I would highly recommend and will look to this home again for my next weekend visit to Blacksburg.

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house. It was a perfect fit for us. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great time playing cards in the evening and watching movies. My 4 and 2 year old grandsons looked forward to going to bed at night so they could take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. The house had everything you could possibly want. The hot tub was a hit with my grown children. We look forward to returning in the future.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautifully decorated and clean organized home. It was just what we needed for our family. The lack of a designated parking space was a new and somewhat uncomfortable experience, but we always found a spot close to the house.

We had no issues at all during our time there, even with our two dogs, who felt right at home. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. I had a wonderful visit at Woodland Cottage. It was a great location and close to everything I needed these last couple of days. The cottage was clean and felt like home. Michelle was extremely prompt in all of her communication which was greatly appreciated. I felt safe and very comfortable. I’d definitely return to visit again!

We visited our son in Longwood University which brought us to Kira’s cabin. The cabin is a short drive from downtown Farmville, less than 15 minutes, rests on a large open grassy field with a nice sized fireplace and a few hiking paths. The interior of the cabin is very welcoming, the feel is that of a late 19th century hunter’s cabin with modern features like wi-fi, central air, entertainment center, and a modern kitchen. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. We felt like we visited our family or close friend’s home. Thank you!

This is the absolute top shelf of places to stay at Smith Mountain Lake. The deck and water view can’t be beat. The living space is second to none on a rainy or hot day. Book here with confidence.

This is the second time we stay here, and we absolutely love it! It’s perfectly and conveniently located near a gas station and a small market that has everything you may need. It’s a short drive to devils backbone and all the rest of the breweries, and in the center of nature with lots of trees around. We will definitely continue to have this place in our favorites so we can stay here again. Thank you again for hosting us.

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Lisa's condo was fabulous! It was decorated beautifully and in a very peaceful location. It was great not having to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. If you need anything, she is quick to answer. It was the cleanest dog friendly Airbnb that we have ever stayed in!! We have a hypoallergenic dog so I appreciated not being covered in dog hair. Having the lovely house in this location enabled our family to "meet in the middle" and enjoy Easter! It is a lovely place and felt like home! We were grateful for all the little extra touches! The lookout and hiking trail were both beautiful. The Market was a short walk from the house and the Discovery center was great for our granddaughter. Everyone we met in the area was friendly, including the firefighters who took time out from training to show their truck to the children! Thank you Elizabeth! We highly recommend this place!

This hidden gem outside of Lexington was wonderful. The surrounding area is quiet and scenic. You're deceptively close to downtown and surrounding destinations for hiking, scenic drives and solid restaurants. More importantly, the accomodations were easy to access, spotless inside and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly, responsive and accomodating to all our requests. Easily one of the best AirBnB experiences I've had. I highly recommend, and I'd stay here again.

We had a great stay; the house looked exactly like on the photos, and was properly cleaned before we arrived. Charlotte was very responsive, gave us great recommendations for local kid-friendly hikes and helped quickly resolve any issues that came up during our stay.

This was my first experience with Air BB. I was thoroughly pleased. Beautiful decor, clean, spacious and convenient to my graduation from Liberty University. I felt safe. My girls said they felt comfortable and way to come back. That was enough for me. Paichat communicated well and timely when asked questions. We loved it. 100%

This place was perfect for a few days of fishing at Smith Mountain Lake. It was very quiet, private and relaxing. The host was very helpful and everything was exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you are a fisherman with a boat as it was easy to park and you are only a few minutes away from the closest ramp. Bill was awesome and the place was great!

Alex and Elise are such awesome hosts! This was our 3rd time staying in their beautiful home and we have never had any issues. The house is beautiful and always in such pristine condition. The views are amazing. We always feel so welcome, even before we make the trip! Highly recommend!

Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. The tiny house was perfect for our anniversary weekend with our small senior dog. We enjoyed time down by the river and in the hot tub. Close to Saunders farm, Bryant’s Cider and Blue Mountain Barrel House. The side porch with seating and grill added to the space! Tiffany was awesome and the space is adorable!
