Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient location for anyone with activities at the University. Price was very reasonable, especially given the accommodations. Stayed two nights, but suitable for longer stay as well.

Desire and Scottys place was even cuter than the pictures. it had everything we needed and things we didn't realize that made our stay a home away from home. It was a peaceful place to relax in after a day of hiking and wineries in the area. It was also nice to be able to walk to dinner and explore town. Will definitely come back when we are in the area again.

This was a great place for our family to stay while we were in town. We are a family of 4 kids so it’s nice when all 6 of us have a bed to sleep in. Katie’s place was very clean and welcoming. She was a great host, very good communication and had some nice recommendations for places to eat. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and the out door patio was a good retreat for some quiet in the evening. If heading to Lynchburg again, we would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, we only got to stay here for one night, The Crow's Nest was a welcomed haven after a long drive. Bobby's clear instructions on where to park and the key code for entry made it easy for us. The place is exactly as described and it felt very welcoming. We greatly appreciated how clean and comfortable the place is and the wonderful welcoming touches, such as the soap, teas and snacks -- and even the filtered water ready in the fridge after a long drive. The place was convenient for us as we moved our daughter out of her dorm in Randolph College. After an evening of packing, we bought ice cream at Rookies (yay that they offer one vegan flavor and it was delicious) and we enjoyed it on The Crow's Nest 's desk for a lovely evening watching the sunset. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the night peaceful, allowing us to feel rested in the morning to finish moving our daughter out and ready for a return drive home. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will want to return again!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Heidi’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to UVA, yet in a peaceful and quiet area. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made my stay extra comfortable, including a comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, etc. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience. This place was perfect for my mom and I! We each had a separate place but we were right across the hall from each other. We liked how close it was to downtown Roanoke. Stephen made a video to show where the apartments were and where to park - it was so helpful! He was very responsive tp our questions and gave us local restaurant recommendations. We were in town to visit family and we were able to walk to Mast (a local clothing/general store) from where we were staying - it was only a 12 minute walk. The place was spacious, beautiful, and so clean! We will definitely stay here again when in Roanoke!

This place is so cute, perfect for a one night getaway for me and my husband. For such a small space it really delivered with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Would gladly stay again if we ever make it back to Staunton!

We had an amazing in Forest! Our group of six adults had more than enough space to spread out and relax, and the home was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Each bedroom felt like its own retreat, and having 3.5 bathrooms was a huge bonus for a group our size. It truly felt like a home away from home, and the peaceful neighborhood made for a relaxing getaway. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, modern, and spacious place to unwind! The hosts were responsive and professional. I will always look to book their properties first when I travel to the area. Top Notch!

We visited for my husband’s alumni weekend and had a packed itinerary of hikes and tours, so it was such a gift to come home to this peaceful garden retreat. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the Charlottesville views. The space was also comfortable and amenable to our two young kids, making it an easy and relaxing stay for the whole family.

Me and my family loved the time we spend there! The kids loved the shower. They have never experienced a shower like that before. The place over all was well worth it and very enjoyable. We will definitely have to come back when we are visiting family again.

Erin’s place was great! She was super responsive whenever we had a question and was very accommodating. The house was exactly what we needed and the house was clean and comfortable. At no fault to Erin, the neighbors were a bit loud at night but overall location was good and in between the downtown mall area and the UVA area. Would recommend!

The house is beautiful and it was very clean. The surrounding views are great and if it was warmer out we would have really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch area. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Loved this little condo! It’s perfect for a weekend away. The market is a minute walk away, it was so clean and cute, and the bed was so comfy and cozy too. Would absolutely return!

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

First time staying in these condos and was way better than we expected! Excellent location where felt safe and secure with the multiple locked doors and good parking (which is a big one). Had everything and more we needed for a weekend getaway. Very peaceful location. Only saw a couple people and never heard any loud vehicles or people during the stay. Highly recommend this location. Will now be our new go to spot for our regular stays in Roanoke! Thank you!

We loved it. It was clean and it felt like home. I will be back to stay. Michael and his wife were friendly and even left us a treat in the kitchen. I would recommend this home to everyone.

Mary’s place was exactly what we needed for our family with small children. The kids loved eating on the deck and being able to sleep in the same room but in their own bed. They had games available and everything was nice and clean. Mary was also quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!
