Absolutely perfect peaceful getaway! Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space to walk with the dogs. Perfect place to curl up with a book and read to my heart's content. big bonus that there is no cell phone signal. Spacious and fully equipped. Very pet-friendly!

I enjoyed my stay at Dikhololo, the place was clean and peaceful. My unit had everything I needed it felt like home. Thee activities there are to die for!! and catered for everyone to enjoy 😉. I personally enjoyed everything, I experienced everything that was on the advert and more. Definitely a place to visit again 😌.

This place was absolutely incredible! Just the most beautiful location and great accommodation. If you’re a very large group this place is PERFECT! Our group stayed across multiple houses right next to each other and it was very easy to socialize together. There were some other guests in the remaining houses too, but we still felt it was more than private enough! Easy to communicate with the host throughout and wonderful service while we were there. Without a doubt we will be visiting again!

We loved staying on the farm- such beautiful forests, a lake to swim in and a short walk to pick blueberries and have tea at a café.

An Unforgettable Stay at Elandsvlei! We had an absolutely incredible stay at Elandsvlei! The entire weekend was peaceful and rejuvenating. We explored every waterfall we could find, enjoyed picnics all over the farm, and took long, scenic walks. The offroading opportunities were fantastic and added a real sense of adventure to our trip. One of the true highlights was stargazing in the boma by a cozy fire — an experience we’ll never forget. The sunrises streaming through our windows each morning were simply breathtaking. The house we stayed in was perfect — it had everything we needed and more, making our stay extremely comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed at the gate and personally escorted to our accommodation. Elandsvlei truly exceeded all our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

Loved this place! Marnell made extra effort to ensure we took the best possible road to her place and was very friendly. The farm was so tranquil we were sad that we didn't book the previous day too. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Mopani Villa! Would recommend for anyone who wants a quick weekend getaway to the bushveld. Lauren is a great host! Lots of animals came to visit. I would absolutely stay here again!

Tamar and her partner Mark have created a lush paradise within their compound. They have a beautiful and bountiful garden that provided us with fresh fruits and vegetables, the accommodations are exactly as pictured in the photos, and the whole experience was delightful. I went on an all-day excursion/hike with their artist son Simon to look at rock art, which was fascinating. And we also enjoyed taking a peek at the operations of The Artist’s Press. This was a great place to rest for a few days after our long journey from the United States, and also after our 4-day excursion to Kruger. We highly recommend it. The only word of caution is that arriving at night can feel challenging, but Simon’s directions and google maps got us there without a hitch.

An absolutely fantastic getaway! The Bungalow exceeded all expectations and provided the perfect escape from the city. The natural hot spring was undoubtedly the highlight—soaking in the 50°C mineral-rich water under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The property is beautifully secluded, offering complete privacy with stunning riverfront views, mountain scenery, and an abundance of birdlife. It’s the ideal place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature at its finest. The bungalow itself has a unique rustic Mediterranean-African charm, blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings. The braai and pizza oven were great additions, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. We also appreciated the fast WiFi, which worked even when there were temporary power trips (to clarify—there was no load shedding during our stay). A standout experience was the magical three-course meal Schalk arranged for us atop one of the nearby mountains.

Very spacious, neat, clean and beautifully furnished. The host was very communicative before and after check in assisting with even the smallest details. The air conditioning works wonderfully and is an absolute necessity for the area. Whilst we didn’t need it, the back up power gave us peace of mind and is something we always look for when booking accommodation in SA. The Trellidor surrounding the patio is also a great feature. The pool was clean and well maintained and the water was the right temperature for swimming. The daily cleaning was very convenient as were the en suite bathrooms in every room.

Where do I even begin to review my stay with Tracey & Bernard. The location was so incredibly beautiful and private. However, I had the safety of a secure fence and Tracey & Bernard’s house behind the Airbnb. The home has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and baking. And even AC and covered parking. The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive with local spots to visit, a friendly chat, and delightful goodies on arrival. Not to mention that Bernard came and rescued me when my car broke down and got my daughter to her job the next morning since I couldn’t drive the car. They went so far above and beyond! You will not be disappointed with this booking. The location is ideal, the home is super clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful. You will be awoken to beautiful sunrises and birds chirping. And have delightful hosts. Truly everything an Airbnb should be and more! Thanks again Tracey & Bernard!

Had a lovely time at the bookwoodbuilt house/helderfontein private game farm! I enjoyed a boys weekend away here and couldn’t have asked for more. Enjoyed the pool table available, the driving trails and walking trails - there’s beautiful wild life just beyond your gate! Planning on visiting again soon

We had a wonderful long weekend at Barn Owl Lodge. Nicolette is the perfect host - pleasant, proactive and gave clear with instructions and information relating to our stay. The house is very spacious and well designed. I think the kitchen is better equipped than ours at home. Most of our time was spent on the patio, we could spread out and each find a spot to read and enjoy the view. This is our third stay at Mjejane and Barn Owl ticked all the boxes. Don’t hesitate, just book.

Die Unterkunft von Sue ist eine besondere Perle für Menschen, die Natur und Tiere möglichst nah erleben wollen. Das wunderschöne Cottage ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat eine Außenküche auf der Veranda. einfach herrlich! Sue lebt direkt nebenan im Haupthaus und ist eine ganz besonders freundliche Gastgeberin, die ihr Leben im Busch sehr genießt. Jede Frage wurde umgehend beantwortet. Da es viel geregnet hat, hat Sue uns auf der Rückfahrt begleitet, bis wir sichere Straßen erreicht haben. Denkt daran spätestens in Brits einzukaufen, denn dies ist die letzte Möglichkeit. Von dort ist es eine Stunde Fahrzeit bis ins Cottage. Es war eine große Freude, Sue kennengelernt zu haben!

The place is stunning! It was very safe and secure. Would highly recommend. The pool was beautiful and they even provided pool side towels. Alida and Irene were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Family loved the house! Surrounded in nature and saw all sorts of animals. House itself was very spacious and clean. Lot of things to be excited about! Also much affordable option and only 20-30 mins from Krueger park!

I booked Genet House Holiday Home for my family, and they had an amazing stay! They loved the spacious and well-designed house, and the wildlife roaming nearby made it even more special!!! Andy was fantastic hosts, making them feel welcome. The check-in was seamless, and the location was perfect—peaceful yet close to Kruger. They had an unforgettable experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful surroundings and the accommodation is top notch. Ulani was very responsive to all our questions and personally welcomed us. The location is very safe and secure which gave us great peace of mind. Their local restaurant at Nabana Lodge was very convenient with a good selection in their menu, good food...and wonderful staff. The location is close to attractions such as Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's potholes, God's Window, Pilgrims rest and of course Kruger National Park. We would highly recommend.

The reception staff was absolutely wonderful. Mr. Ayn was helpful and had a nice personality and was available around the clock. The place met all requirements, in addition to the fact that the place was very beautiful, the nature was stunning, and the accommodation was very comfortable. We had a 10 day stay with our family from Germany. It was peaceful, beautiful and nice touch that the entire farm, grounds and surrounds were available to us to explore. The farm manager was helpful, we enjoyed meeting the owners. The facilities are great and a bonus of having staff accommodation at no additional cost which enabled us to have our chef and nanny travel with us.

What a beautiful time we had with family The host was super responsive, lovely and friendly. We had everything we needed for the trip . The cleaning ladies were so lovely and helpful. We had the place cleaned everyday and our fire wood topped up . I would recommend this home to anyone thinking of having a peaceful, private, beautiful stay . It’s everything the pictures describe and more
