The place was beautiful, neat with lots of natural light and we felt right at home.

We loved our stay at Vanberry Cottage, a restored former school, now high on a ridge with spectacular views across the valley to the distant ranges. The peace and quiet was wonderful. The well equipped cottage enabled us to self cater and relax on the veranda (and by the fire when it got a little chilly). Communication was great and we had some lovely chats with Helen and Terry and enjoyed learning a little about growing and production of the rosella products. We'd love to return for a longer stay. Thank you Helen and Terry.

We travelled from NZ for a local wedding. Justine’s cottage was warm & inviting. We enjoyed a couple of very restful nights and their 2 little dogs were a delight! Very quiet & peaceful! Justine was very prompt in her communication which was appreciated!

Teresa, the cohost, was fabulous. Lots of tips and the welcome gift of local cheeses, a dip, biscuits and a bottle of local wine was a delightful introduction to the region. The house was spacious, with everything you might need. Being in a cooler region, there was a welcome choice of warm blankets and a variety of heaters and reverse air conditioning. Situated between Warwick and Gympie, you are close to wonderful vineyards and various fruit farms, as well as stunning natural attractions like the Boonoo Boonoo Falls. The provided information book gave a wide list of places to visit and dine. For pet owners, the region is very dog friendly. All in all, we thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed our accommodation and stay.

Beautiful, modern home within walking distance to the Main Street and cafes. Had a great stay and will definitely recommend to friends.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was even more fantastic this time. The second bathroom has been renovated which just shows Jacqui is constantly reinvesting in this beautiful home. This house has everything you could want or need. It is exactly what an Airbnb should be with everything being extremely well equipped (especially the kitchen). There is barely a utensil or pantry basic you won’t find and the same goes for the cupboards of games, firewood and bathrooms. We were offered a late check out without having to ask and Jacqui’s communication was fantastic throughout the booking. Couldn’t recommend a better spot in Stanthorpe with a more gorgeous view of the river and such a short walk into town. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay! The place was spotless, modern, and even more beautiful than the photos. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location — it was exactly what I needed. The host was so thoughtful and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Honestly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I’ll definitely be returning!

We were 3 couples in our 60’s having a long weekend in Stanthorpe. The property was peaceful private and had a beautiful aesthetic. The house was pristine, roomy, nicely appointed and very comfortable. A separate toilet for the main bathroom that is shared by up to 6 people would have been preferable however we understand that is a design issue. We loved lighting the fire in the outdoor fire pit and watching the beautiful sunset while lounging on the lovely outdoor chairs. A lovely weekend enjoying wine tasting in the area and nature on our property was had by all. Sarah was a great host.
