I wanted this place for some R&R and it was perfect!! I will definitely stay again!! It was so peaceful. I have rented tons of cabins from all over the U.S and I seriously think it was the cleanest place I ever rented. I normaly dont use dishes etc that is in places I rent, but I did here. Everything felt clean. I felt at home. The scenery was so peaceful. I watched the wilife in the morning and sunset in evening. Worth every dime! Check it out!! You wont be disappointed.

Great place for us to stay. We were hunting near by and the view is great. House was clean and had everything we needed.

Literally perfect for the 6 of us (2 adults - 4 teens) to enjoy our stay. Cabin was beautiful and completely equipped with everything we hoped. Walking distance to river - gorgeous view for early morning walks and fishing. Private location of hot tub and fire pit. Cabin sets at the mouth of a quiet, clean and cozy rv park. I had read of the highway traffic being a nuisance in another feedback, but it was actually less than what we have on our street in our town so traffic/noise was not an issue and seemed minimal. My kids are teens, but there was a smaller playground right next to the cabin that appeared fairly new that would be a great addition to family fun for smaller children. There were many board games my teens enjoyed playing. One fun surprise was a telescope viewing out the loft window. They also enjoyed sitting on the balcony. I had asked a few questions and Chelsie was very quick to respond and accommodating. I will 100% recommend Eagles Roost Resort to anyone/everyone.

My husband and I brought our son and 2 of his friends to visit DSU and this place was perfect! Everything was thought of and provided, the garage/recreation area was a dream come true for the boys and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. We felt very at home and it was an incredible weekend of memories. Thank you! We already plan to come back with our younger kids this summer!

We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations, location, and our host. Will definitely be checking with him next time also.

I really enjoyed stay here, Cindy was always very fast about texting back and answering any questions I had. It was in a great spot, and had everything you needed. I would recommend staying here, you won’t regret it!

Great little spot. Very quiet and scenic. If you don’t mind being a little ways away from Ponca State Park, this spot is great.

Linda’s place was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stop in Spalding. Linda was very friendly and welcoming. There property extends down to a lovely creek, which made for a nice morning walk.

Second rental and will definitely be back again! If you are looking for a great place to get away from it all, this is definitely it! Highly recommended! Host is awesome and very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at the charming rustic cabin. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful yet so close to downtown eatery’s and entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed the foot massager!

The cabin was very nice! The shower was great! Had a slight issue with the toilet and it was fixed while we were gone. Great service!

I am an outdoors type of person. I love to hunt and spend time out in nature so this cabin was right up my alley. had nice trails up in the woods for a nice morning walk. my girlfriend loved the longhorns that were at the cabin. it is now our go to spot for when we come out from pa to watch my nephews race motocross! if you love the outdoors this place is for you!

the campgrounds were clean and well maintained. The public restrooms were very clean and no issues noted.

House was as advertised. Bird hunting poor. Locals report guide hunts are only option.

The location of the campground was closer to town than I thought. It ended up ok as the trail along frontage road was awesome. The campground was very nice and clean. The pool was spotless. The cabin was smaller than I thought. Personnel were so helpful and friendly!

I can't say enough good things about this experience. Everything was in perfect order and our host was very responsive with information regarding things to do in the area and places to eat. She even helped us find places for some in our group to horseback ride while others went shopping. The views were beautiful, everything from wildlife to landscapes. Take the time to enjoy the stars, sunrises and sunsets. There was plenty of fire wood for campfires and the location was perfect to get away from it all. I will definitely be back!
