The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

This is THE best getaway! It is so beautiful…. All the beauty you are surrounded with. So clean.. feels like a home I would love to ensure you daughter can learn to appreciate the REAL beauty of life. Coming back for my birthday and anniversary! Really enjoyed staying here. It is quiet and clean and very nicely set up. My only complaints aren't even really complaints, just unexpected... The cabin is pretty close to the road. There is a row of trees for privacy and protection but we expected to be further back. It's on a quaint circle of other cabins, which you can see your neighbors... But they were quiet and it was very peaceful. We also for some reason expected the hot tub to be under a covered patio, which it isn't. There is however some lovely rocking chairs under a covered patio which was very lovely since the first day it poured rain. There are also no chairs to lie out but there are plenty of seated chairs. We anticipated this and brought our own zero gravity chairs with us. The experience was overall very lovely. Beautiful little cabin with all you need. Great movie choices. Enjoyed our stay.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our three night stay. Ryan responded to all of our questions quickly. The location is beautiful and close to Fredericksburg. The backroad drives are lovely. Thank you for the use of your property.

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. The cabin was clean and cozy and even decorated for Easter. Kevin is very friendly and responsive. We caught lots of fish from the private dock. The jacuzzi and fire pit made it even more relaxing. The environment is so peaceful. There were people staying in the other cabins when we were there, but we still had our own secluded space. The cabin is only a short 15 min drive from towns with restaurants. We ate several times at the Dairy Palace. They have good food and ice cream for his birthday treat. We were able to purchase bait from Tommy’s Tackle Box (recommended by Kevin) in Eustace. We also found a good Bbq place (Dubb’s Smoke Pitt) and farmers market stand right down the street from the bait store. We hope to return again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor getaway.

The stay was amazing! We spotted deer every morning we were there. The host was very accommodating and communicated quickly throughout our stay. Thank you for an amazing trip.

Perfect two day getaway! Julie’s cabin was amazing. The location was very secluded, peaceful & private! I highly recommend her adorable cabin! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary and Easter at this beautiful property! We loved that it was secluded and we were able to enjoy sitting on the back porch and watch deer. One of the special treats…They provide farm fresh eggs, Coke, Coke Zero, hot tea, and coffee. Additionally biscuits & o.j. (When you let them know)! There was a storm that came in and we felt safe, never lost power, and they checked on us to make sure we were ok! We were not focused on tv time or our phones, but internet is limited. The location is secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. There are games and a dvd player with movies, and books too! The drive is absolutely gorgeous, but it does take about 25-30 minutes to get to Fredericksburg. Which was perfectly fine with us to enjoy time together! The time we spent at the cabin was perfect! You’ll definitely want to grab your bags and reserve your stay now!

Everything was great. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Be prepared to have little to no reception when in the area. The wifi in the house worked fine, though.

Had a fabulous weekend. Went for the Cattle Country music festival, great place to come home to - full moon! Super private and so comfortable

Ms. Whitley was just amazing. The cabin was so beautiful the view was beautiful my wife and i can not wait to come back but next time we would want to stay longer. There was so much to do in such little time. We absolutely loved it there and so did our dogs.

Charming cabin, very private, and peaceful. The pond and gazebo were my fav to sit around a relax. 10/10 recommend for anything romantic, private, or peaceful. Love our stay.

This place was amazing! My whole family had a good time, from the little one to the teenagers. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed plus lots more. Judy has put so much thought, care, and effort in perfecting the cabin and thr amenities. We could not have asked for a better cabin, environment, or host.

It was just as described in advance. Had a funky vibe in the good sense. Attention to detail was evident.

Liked it so well last year, we stayed this year. Some maintenance issues found but communicated them and should be resolved by the next person’s stay.

This place is just pure magic ! Our stay was short but I will 100 percent returning to explore more and enjoy the comforts of this little cabin and farm has to offer

This is truly a hidden gem. It’s as if you are getting your own little slice of a state park somewhere. My son and his friends thought it was an excellent break location away from college. Warren is good natured and down to earth. You will thoroughly enjoy the serenity of this location.

My partner and I stayed in the cabin for 2 months and had no problem during the stay. You can enjoying the coffee and watch the pond. There’s a cute family of ducks that walking around the site. The experience at the cabin was amazing!

I already miss the view when opening the shutters in the kitchen, just like the view you get from the bed You can open a window or the door and have a direct view of the rainforest right from the bed. It’s a beautiful open- house concept. We love nature. Occasionally, a little gecko would wander into the house. But don’t worry, the animals leave you alone. And it’s something truly beautiful. We had no mosquitoes inside! We also had an extra mosquito net. We slept like babies. With the sounds of the rainforest and the rain, it was simply dreamy. We cooked for ourselves and had all the utensils we needed. Pots, pans, plates. The surroundings are also wonderful. From the house, you can easily reach the Trafalgar Falls by car. Sara is very helpful. She is one of the friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. Her dogs are lovely. We fell in love with Titou and he visited us regularly in the garden. If you want a unique vacation experience, you should definitely book. If we come back to Dom.: here!

The place was very simple and very very clean. The instructions were very clear and informative, along with information in the area to make it easier to access! The ONLY thing I got mildly upset about was the hot water tank is small LOL so if you stay with family, keep showers short. The AC made up for it though! Perfect for 3-4 people and very peaceful area of town. Truly, no actual complaints. Very responsive host. Actually messaged me to let me know room was available for check in prior to time which was perfect. Highly recommend and would certainly book again. Best part, affordable!

My husband and I were passing through the area and were thankful to find Laura’s place. Cute as a button and very clean. We loved how peaceful the property was. And our pups loved running around in the pasture. If we’re back in the area we will try to stay here again.
