Convenient and cozy place to hanker down for a night or two when visiting Jay to ski or hike. Hosts and on site restaurant staff were especially friendly and helpful. Would stay again! Thank you!

What a gem! We had an incredible stay and felt right at home for the holidays! It was spacious and had all the amenities, plus the charm and character of the old inn. The location was perfect, both for landscape views and day trip travel. We took full advantage of the connector trail to the state park. We hope to visit again!

Truly beautiful location and home. The bunk beds were free from squeaks, bathroom was nice, and the main house was welcoming. There were many options for breakfast and the hosts were very kind. Everything as advertised.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Karyl ! On a été très bien reçu. Nous avons pu profiter de moments agréables dans leur chaleureux salon. Très bonne ambiance avec les autres voyageurs. Le dortoir était très propre, on nous a donné des couvertures supplémentaires pour la nuit un peu fraîche. Petit plus : grand choix pour le petit-déjeuner, c'était délicieux. On reviendra certainement l'été prochain !

Awesome hosts, so friendly and welcoming! The location is beautiful on the side of the lake. And the house is so cool and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here to ski in nearby Stowe, it’s less than a 20min drive and the hotel itself is fairly clean with comfortable beds and sheets.

Our stay worked out really well. The outside of the grounds is well maintained and backs to large open space. The room itself was clean and functional, offering more space than a regular hotel room. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends/family.

Our stay in the suite was wonderful. The room opens to a lovely stream in the back that was so convenient for taking our dog out and relaxing after enjoying Stowe. The room was spacious and well laid out. The hotel was also kind and accommodating when I needed a late check-out due to an unforeseen personal issue. I will definitely come back the next time I am visiting Stowe!

Outbound Stowe was the perfect stay for our ski weekend. The location is excellent and the employees super nice and helpful. Although the rooms are slightly small, the quality is great and it seems to be the best value in Stowe.

Our stay with our Labrador was great. Very comfortable dog biscuits at reception was a nice touch. The small lounge and fireplace was so relaxing and our dog was with us. I would recommend to anyone who would like to travel to Stowe with their dog. Very easy going, nice people and comfortable.

Best value in the area. Since it's a former ski dorm, the rooms are efficient, but the value is outstanding and the breakfast/lunch downstairs is excellent. Will be staying here again without question.

We had a wonderful stay at the BBI and will certainly be back. Beautiful property with quiet and cozy rooms. Conveniently located to Burlington and many outdoor recreation areas. Mike was a wonderful host, very responsive and even treating his guests to delicious homemade baked goods. We enjoyed visiting with the goats and chickens, too!

The inn was very cozy, super clean, well maintained and super charming. We stayed in the Berry Sunrise room which was spacious, very comfortable, warm and had a large bathroom. It was a very easy check in process and everything was exactly as described. Mike was very responsive and easy to communicate with and very attentive during our stay. The shared common area had very good coffee available and fresh sourdough bagels left by our host as a treat in the morning. Overall, we felt right at home and felt like it was a hidden gem. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.
