We have stayed here several times and we love it more with each visit. Mike and Amy have invested in their property and there are new updates with each year. There is newer furniture than what is pictured. The lake is so nice for swimming!!! And having access to all the kayaks, paddle boat, etc makes the stay so much more fun and relaxing. Sitting on the deck listening to the loons and star gazing is the perfect end to the day!

Was a nice cabin. Bunkbeds were a little small for an average sized adult. The hill to and from the lake was rough for those with health issues but we all survived. The beach area was beautiful but the lake needed raking to remove shells and weeds; luckily we brought water shoes “just in case”. Overall, we were all happy with the accommodations!

This place was homey and comforable. The view of the water was breathtaking!!!

Andrea’s place was absolutely wonderful. It is right on the beach, which was perfect for long walks, watching the sunset, and even seeing a beaver! The inside of the house was wonderfully decorated and the perfect place to relax after hiking and exploring Marquette.

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful spot, friendly owners. could be mentioned in the listing that you have to share the amenities with the other cabins. Area was beautiful the beach was great.

Wonderful space for my family. The lake was peaceful. We were able to cook great meals with a perfect kitchen setup. Elizabeth was kind and her place had everything you could need.

This was just what we were looking for. We wanted a landing place to sleep and shower and eat between out adventures and this was the perfect place. It was quiet and relaxing. We even got to see the three legged fox.

This is the only house I have ever gone back to and I've been there 4 times. You will not find a winter waterfront view like this anywhere else. The home is spacious, quiet, and well kept.

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

The check-in process was very easy, clear instructions from host, house was as described and spotless. We also loved the place, felt very cozy, accessible to lots of great places to hang out and in a great location.

This was the best AirBNB experience we’ve ever had! The unit is pristine and you can’t beat this view of Lake Superior. The wood burning fireplace also makes it very cozy. We had a few minor issues and Jeremiah was incredibly responsive. The building is a little dated, don’t get your hopes up on the amenities, but the unit itself is wonderful. This was my husband’s first time to the North Shore, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We cannot wait to come back. Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

Steven’s house was great for a weekend away. So peaceful. Enjoyed the local atmosphere and scenic views.

Great space if you need three bedrooms. The view of the lake from the living room was excellent and it was a very comfortable home base for a visit to the North Shore / Duluth.

We had a great week-long winter outing. The unit is right across from the ski resort, but quiet and peaceful with views overlooking the frozen lake. We were able to take long (snowshoe) walks with our dog on the Mesabi trail, plus the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to make meals.

Our family had a wonderful stay. We had everything we needed. The house is spread out so everyone had their own space. My husband and I shared the master, my adult son and family had their own apartment basically ( in the tower), teenage boys had the “bunker”, and although my parents couldn’t make it, they would have had their own wing as well. Beautiful surroundings, private… we couldn’t have asked for more on our long weekend away bonding with family.

This place was perfect for hosting a family gathering. It was on Lake Superior with a beautiful beach! The fenced in yard was perfect for children or pets…and there was a great playhouse/slide/swing set. The house had two living areas with sectionals and big screen televisions (allowing sports watching in one room and a sing a long in the other). The kitchen was modern and well stocked and included an island with seating. The four bedrooms had comfortable beds. Although there were houses on either side, it felt private and secluded, down a driveway off the main neighborhood street. It was a short drive into town. We would love to return someday!

Great place for a snowmobile trip! Trail is only 1.5 miles down the road. The view of superior was fantastic and the house was a comfortable place to hang out when we weren't riding.

Perfect place to relax and recharge. The house had everything we needed and Deidra left a basket of goodies filled full with snacks! The property was private and peaceful and I loved the walkways to the fire pit and lake. I wish we had more time there to enjoy the area but we will definitely return! The master bathtub was HUGE and I really appreciated the bath salts and candles. Plenty of beds to choose from and the house was beautifully decorated with books, rocks and really unique touches to make it feel warm and inviting. The back patio was a perfect place to wake up and have coffee and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful property!

Beautiful historic lake front home with plenty of space for my family. Comfortable and filled with history as outlined in write up about the home's origins and previous owners. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises each morning of our springtime stay. Great communication from Paul making this a great experience!

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

We had a great time celebrating an 80th birthday party at Eileen's home. This property is right on the water, which is very appealing. The Bay is peaceful and serene. We would bring our kayaks along if we stay again (boat landing near by). The steps to get to the water were a bit difficult for our older family members to navigate. We loved the flat greenspace for playing outdoor games. Handy to have on site laundry and open concept kitchen/ dining/ living room. The loft area is open to the kitchen, so not the best area for light sleepers or late rizers:) Loved our time there, it's a special place!!
