The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable living space to enjoy some family time. The 3 bedroom home has 2 king beds, 1 bunk bed (twin and full size) and 1 twin trundle bed. Sleeps 8. Enjoy using the 3 kayaks on the lake during the day, then challenge each other to a game of 8 ball at night on the billiards table. Swim and enjoy cocktails by the pool on the lanai.

The Gulf of Mexico is accessible via Crystal River located just across the Salt River from the condo. Wonderful seafood restaurants and activities, such as kayaking, snorkeling, swimming with the manatees, scalloping, biking, golfing, saltwater and freshwater fishing are all available nearby. A public beach is located 4 miles from the condo.

Relax riverside at the private park where you can fish and swim. Park is five minute walk (2 blocks) from the home. Free for guest use are kayaks and paddle boards. They can be transported with the golf cart which has a hitch and kayak trailer. If your vehicle has a hitch you may to use it for other area destinations.
