A travertine stone floor, cherry live edge and soap stone countertops make the custom built kitchen w/ island seating easy to sink into. The glass shower with view of the meadow and an entire 2nd floor master bedroom with tub for two support you to settle and relax into the northern door peninsula's bliss.

Enjoy the solitude and peaceful beauty of this private downstairs unit situated on Fumee Lake in Iron Mountain. This space is close to the many wonderful activities in the area. In summer, enjoy peaceful kayak cruises on Lake Fumee, or go 2 miles away to beautiful all sports Lake Antoine for boating and swimming. Nearby whitewater rafting as well. In Winter there is cross country skiing right out the back door and downhill skiing at Pine Mountain as well as Snowmobiling paths everywhere!

Manistee River Retreat

The Manistee River Retreat is a home located on a bluff overlooking the Manistee River. It is on a private drive. The large deck has a grille, dining table and a table and chairs by the fire pit. The deck overlooks the river valley. From the kitchen door wall is the screen porch that has a dining set for four. Inside the remodeled home is a spacious eat in kitchen and living room, two bedrooms, full bath and a mud room. Like our other Airbnb "Manistee River Cabin" it is sparkling clean.

The “Me Time” can sleep 4, however we encourage no more than 2 guests for a nice romantic getaway. 1 Stateroom- Sleeps 2, Dinette converts to a double and sleeper and sofa converts to a twin in the salon - Enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises, a cool lake breeze and star gazing at night. Amenities include a heated pool (seasonal) with two hot tubs, gas grills and patio, a ships store, and laundry facilities.
