A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Great Up North cabin in a serene and peaceful setting nestled among the trees along Little Pine River. Some have said they feel as though they’re in a treehouse. Two kayaks and a few tubes are available for guests to use, or sit in a chair in the river and cool off. Enjoy the views and sounds of the river and wildlife while sitting by the fire pit, on the cozy deck or in one of the 2 screened in porches. If you feel like being more social, Crosslake is only about a 5 mile drive.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

The level lake lot makes it easy to enjoy the serenity of lake life, including floating, boating, wildlife watching and stunning sunsets. Norway Lake is a full recreation lake, offering some of the best fishing and ice fishing around.

With an open floor plan, the main level features a great room/kitchen/living room and a fireplace for the chilly nights. This log cabin is located between Nisswa and Pequot, far enough to have a quiet escape but close enough to enjoy all these towns have to offer. The property includes a barrel sauna, cozy living space, fire pit, a walking trail, and creek.
