Key Colony Beach: aluguel por temporada de apartamento (condo)

The condo was perfect and like a home away from home. We were given recommendations on things to do and any questions we had were answered quickly. I loved kayaking in the canals and was able to see a sea turtle, dolphins, and manatees. Would love to return!

This place was absolutely stunning! The complex was well taken care of and the pool was awesome. I loved the location of this property, as it was close to everything. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!!

This was a beautiful place to stay that was off the busy road and afforded less traffic and noise. It was still very convenient to all restaurants and activities in Marathon. The condo was very clean, beds comfortable, updated kitchen, and just great overall. There is a pool available and you are just a few steps from the beach. We would definitely recommend it to others, and stay here again.

very charming and spacious place. the master bedroom (captains quarters) is massive, and my two friends and I had more than enough room to spread out. There were plenty of towels and items for daily living (well stocked kitchen, laundry items, grilling utensils). the pool is separate from a condo but a short walk away. We had a hard time initially locating our condo b/c we didn't see a unit # outside the door itself, and went up/down the flights of stairs a few times before we found it. But once we did, it was smooth sailing. (2nd floor, take a right.) Gorgeous views and spacious patio!

Hello. We Booked this place so I could be in the sun on a lounge chair and husband could fish. It was exactly what we wanted. We were able to hang out together and both get what we wanted. He caught fish like crazy! Place is beautiful and exactly how described. Getting an Uber/lyft was easy. Sombrero Beach was beautiful. Ana was excellent to communicate with. Condo bed was very comfy and the bedroom dark. The use of a cooler and beach chairs was appreciated. Would not hesitate to book again.

Saw some reviews on TripAdvisor about the marina staff being rude. They were a little curt at first but became pleasant after we were polite and patient with them. The condo is about 20ft from where they park the boat for you and we were allowed to stay out past closing since we were staying with them. If you’re wondering how the fishing is in the Gulf, we are very inexperienced fishermen and still caught all sorts of exotic fish and small sharks from the boat and the nearby bridges, hundreds each day on the boat including the several mackerel and snapper we had for dinners. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, a giant grouper, and 8ft sharks. The beds weren’t great (2 crappy twins and a queen, rest of us slept on couches), the hot water was barely warm, and the TV was probably 15yrs old, but we were there for the fishing anyways. Not a fancy resort experience for sure, but worth it if you just need a base of operations in the Keys.

Lynn was great! The accommodations were as described and she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were a group of 6 guys visiting the keys to fish.

Wonderful place to stay. The lady in reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We used the bikes (free) but did not have time to use the kayaks (free). Our children were well entertained by fish and nurse sharks in the small harbour and we had a great time in the pool. Definitely a place I will recomend.

Mary was super responsive and gave local recommendations. The location and setting are wonderful and relaxing. Thanks for an amazing family vacation.

Great overall experience. Very nice condo steps from the water. Host is super responsive and did her part to make our stay portion of the vacation great. Will stay here again if we decide to come back to the Keys.

Kim's place is indeed VERY close to a small beach having everything you need. Having a barbecue at sunset on the beach made the day, even if the continuous April wind was a bit disturbing. My expectations for the water were exaggerate. It was very regular, sandy water, and the advertised snorkeling from the beach will reveal nothing. The only problem I have encountered was the washer and the dryer, located outside the room, and requiring 2 dollars each, in quarters, to be used. Firstly, the price for the place should include those 4 dollars, and secondly, who carries these days 16 quarters with him? There were quarters available at the front desk up to 12 o clock, with check-in at 3 pm. So, have quarters with you. However, as I found the entire Keys area highly overrated and expensive for beach / snorkeling, Kim's place is a very cool location, closer to the beach than I have ever stayed, clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed staying at Kim’s place. It was nice having the pool and private beach within just a few steps….so relaxing that you could easily spend all your time there. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Great location with a small private beach to view a beautiful sunrise. The exterior of the property is well maintained and the rooms are clean/updated. The beach towels/chairs & box fan in the closet are great for travelers. Easy to access room and they have a large parking lot closely watched by employees. Make sure you communicate with them when you plan to leave otherwise the cleaning staff will assume you’re gone if they see you drive off the property before 11am check out.
