I had the pleasure of staying at Cocos Paradise in Diani, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and lush, tropical surroundings. It's the perfect getaway if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and swaying palm trees. The garden is beautifully kept and offers plenty of space to relax and even kids to play. What really stood out to me was the hospitality , the host & staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and welcoming. From arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Cocos Paradise as quiet, charming, & affordable spot in Diani,. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Loise is the most welcoming host. We stayed with a few students at her house and we really loved it. The accommodation is as expected and clean. I would recommend this place to everyone, if you are searching for a quite, peaceful and spacious airbnb with a backyard.

My family really enjoyed their stay. Evans was flexible when we ended up having more guests than we initially expected. Evans’ parents prepared very good food for my family at a fair cost. They were also very kind and accommodating. We shall definitely be recommending Evans’ place and will book again in future.

Deborah’s place is perfect for a getaway. The peaceful atmosphere and amazing views are great for relaxing. Don’t forget to carry your binoculars, for birdwatchers.

The property is even more beautiful than the photos. Esther and the staff made the stay utterly seamless and comfortable. It is incredibly peaceful and I look forward to returning.

We had an absolutely delightful weekend stay with our family. The serene environment allowed us to hear birds chirping in the morning, much to our toddler’s excitement as she eagerly ventured out for bird-spotting. Sheila’s prompt responsiveness was commendable; when we encountered an issue with the fridge, she swiftly resolved it in no time. Her warm and friendly demeanor made our experience even more enjoyable. For anyone seeking a peaceful retreat from Nairobi’s bustling life to relax and rejuvenate, I highly recommend her place. The cozy ambiance and homey furniture made us feel right at home.  Additionally, the property’s convenient proximity to the main road made trips to Buffalo Mall or Naivas effortless whenever we needed to pick up supplies.

Sheila's place was lovely and this was a relaxing stay. She responded to all my queries and to any issues immediately. Kileleshwa is a lovely suburb, leafy and close to many areas. Wifi is strong and good for working from home. The building and neighbours are lovely, and security is tight. The best part is the balcony with a gorgeous view for those morning cups of coffee. Sheila was super responsive and helped me book her property when I had to urgently leave my previous Airbnb. Only two cons to list but both are manageable - the switch for the water heater is outside the front door, which can be a little inconvenient for those early morning or late night showers, but that's just the design of the apartment. Also, you will need to purchase your own electricity tokens if you go over what is provided (e.g. if you want to use the heater during cold days you might go over). But like I said, both are manageable. I stayed here just over a month and I will return when I am back in Nairobi!

Alice is truly one of the warmest, kindest hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of being hosted by… She was so gracious and kind to me, and welcomed me into her beautiful apartment. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, and felt just like home. High standard amenities, a very comfortable bed and beautifully decorated with all the furnishings… I need to also mention that the location of this apartment is absolutely superb, it is literally within steps at the Garden City Mall , with all kinds of coffee, shops, artisan restaurants , and a wonderful grocery store literally right there . This also seems to be a much quieter side of Nairobi , which I LOVED, but yet very easy to reach the main downtown area of bustling Nairobi. The apartment has a balcony, which was perfect for coffee and tea, and at night it’s very quiet it makes for a great sleeping, which I also loved. The bathroom is great, plentiful, hot water in the shower, and I love the kitchen also, with all the pots needed.

The host (Damaris) and staff are super friendly and easy to work with. The apartment was clean and spacious. I was able to easily walk to the Yaya center, Lavington Mall and Jefferys sports center whenever I felt like it. The neighborhood is surrounded by an endless network of paved sidewalks. I really enjoyed hours of walking. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Staying at Beatrice’s place was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. Beatrice was incredibly communicative, friendly, and thoughtful, making the check-in process seamless. The space itself was exactly as describe;clean, cozy, and full of personal touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. I would highly recommend staying with Beatrice to anyone visiting the area, and I would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you, Beatrice, for such a wonderful stay!

The apartment was wonderful. It was close to all the activities: great foods, lounges, malls. Our host Sabine was amazing. She is so responsive and we truly felt well taken care of. Everything in the apartment was exactly as soon in the pictures. We can’t see how much we enjoyed staying here and how much Sabine went above and beyond to make us feel at home. This was for sure the best Airbnb we've ever had in Nairobi. The area, though in walking distance to 2 major malls and various supermarkets, restaurants and clubs, and near to the express way, is quiet and the apartment offers a wonderful view of the skyline of Westlands. The pools are clean and the largest we've ever had in Nairobi (25 m long), ideal for all levels of swimmers. The apartment is spacious with a nice balcony and easily sleeps a family of 4. The mattresses in the bedrooms are of good quality and comfortable. All rooms have big windows and a lot of daylight. The lighting and the switches are by far the best I can remember in Kenya. The kitchen is new and every electric appliance is working perfectly, the gas cooker is of optimal quality and very reactive. Cutlery and tableware need maybe some upgrading, especially as far as matching is concerned, but Judy is very responsive and immediately tries to satisfy even the most particular needs to make her guests feel at home.

It’s 2 bedrooms apartment with comfortable beds. It’s very clean apartment and couple minutes a way from the beach. It’s has all the amenities I could as for such as utensils to cook and high speed internet. I’ll recommend anyone to rent. Thank you Maithya.

I had a great stay at Wendy’s, looks like the pictures and very clean. I felt safe and at home. she is very responsive and helpful. Would have stayed longer if the dates were available.

My stay at Maureen’s Marvel house was awesome. The place is as shown in the photos. The place is clean, with clean furniture, kitchen well equipped. Having two beds was especially helpful for what I needed, worked perfectly. Maureen is a super host! She was quick to respond to inquiries regarding her house like when water was not heating in one bathroom a maintenance person was there in an hour. She gave me information on different issues as I requested including transportation, as a Kenyan but not lived in that locality before this was super helpful. Having spent almost a month in the house she allowed for later check out since my flight was in the evening. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. The only disclaimer on location is transportation as Ubers sometimes would refuse to go. The location itself is quite accessible but since the overall area is known to have some challenges accessing they would hesitate. Describing how near the road the house is helped. Thanks Maureen.
