We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

This place is definitely worth your time looking at. I thought I’d miss being right at the beach, but honestly, we looked forward to coming ‘home’ to Joseph and David and the calm, quiet, cool of Ruby House. We spent time reading, playing games, reconnecting and resting, as well as swimming and bobbing in the creek - listening and watching birds. It is so peaceful - chatting with fishermen, and just taking in the surroundings. We went for a few day trips- the Gede ruins are well worth an hour of your time, sand dunes north of malindi were great. And we LOVED Garoda Beach - much less seaweed and less busy. I could not speak more highly of the staff - they were present but not, flexible, understanding and really wanted to help make your time enjoyable. The rooms were so comfortable. I think it may be a little hot in the very hot month, but it gets a lovely breeze and there is always the one room to escape into for an afternoon nap if necessary - but we didn’t need to do this. Absolute rustic beach-front paradise and such a lovely team of staff! Ocean views are stunning and tennis court is a lot of fun. Jacquie is amazingly responsive and so helpful. Thank you so much!

Abdillah was patient and waited for me even though I arrived late by bus. He made me feel at home by taking me on an evening walk around Lamu and showing me great places to eat. He also recommended a reliable captain who took me to Takwa Island and Jaluo Village at a fair price. I truly enjoyed my short holiday in Lamu thanks to Abdillah. If I visit Lamu again, this is definitely a place I will consider staying at.

We enjoyed staying at Garys place a lot. We appreciated the most 1) access to a beautiful beach with very few people; 2) amazing and authentic style house with wonderful balcony; 3) hospitality of local employees who prepared delicous meals and took care of cleaning the house. We thought that for kids a pool will be needed, but during our stay they actually enjoyed a lot to the ocean - playing in the water and collecting sea shells. Not far from Garys place in a walking distance are few interesting sight seeing spots. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely house on the beach just next to Treehouse Watamu. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the house has lots of spots to relax and hangout. It also has a nice pool, good mosquito nets and lots of fans. The ocean is a 3 minute walk and this particular stretch of beach is peaceful, empty and hassle free. The house has two good sized double rooms with a bunkbed (double down, single up) in a small corridor. It fit our family of five perfectly. Will definitely be back.

Aly was a wonderful host for a trip with my friends. The listing looked just like the photos and the view was even better in person. One of our group unfortunately fell ill and Aly was quick to give us a recommendation for a nearby hospital. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a nice spot in Mombasa.

We were a family of 5; 2 adults and 3 kids aged 14 year old, 5 year old and a 2 year old. Charlottes place was amazing. We loved everything! The staff at the house make sure you are comfortable. They cleaned everyday and we had clean towels daily. The guard Suleiman, is great to book excursions if you need, a very friendly man. We hired a chef called Katana, whom Charlotte recommended. His food was fantastic, delicious and nutritious. Just let him know your preference like swahili dishes, or other dishes and he will make it. We had him make Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polly the manager, is at the site and she can help you if you have questions, she is very responsive and friendly. I recommend this place for families with small kids and teenagers. The pool is another gem in this house. Thank you Charlotte, we miss your house already ❤️

We loved the Asali house. Beautiful, and very well designed. It was great to have the pool! The Chef, Daniel, was very talented and prepared wonderful meals for us. During our 5 night stay, we only had dinner at a restaurant the first night, since Daniel's dishes were so delicious. He prepared fresh caught seafood for us every day! The housekeeper, Margaret, was so sweet, kept a very clean house, gave us a nice "turn-down" service each evening laundry service whenever we needed it. Our sheets were always nice. The gardener, Kazungu, kept bougainvillea bouquets on the dining room table, in our bathroom, and in all the foot baths in the yard. So pretty. Monica gave us superb deep tissue massages! Sheke, our host, was always available to assist with our activities and walks into town. The paths through town are winding, so it takes some skill to find our way. We had such a wonderful experience in amazing Shela Lamu. Our sunset sail was dreamy. The people are so kind & friendly. Loved it!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay with family of 5. The owner responded quickly, send us very detailed information of all you need to know and arranged pick up at Mombasa airport. The staff is very friendly, helpful and at the same time gives you privacy. Reuben the chef provided us splendid meals, we especially enjoyed all the fresh seafood!Recommended is to do shopping before arrival because bigger supermarkets are 40 minutes drive away. Fruits, vegetables, water, fish, soda’s are easy to get in the village but for more luxurious groceries you have to go to the bigger supermarkets. You can book the pick up from the airport with a shopping stop in Nyali. Neen Tree is a lovely family house with marvellous view and direct access to the ocean. A friendly monkey family lives on the property and are fun to watch. Besides the pool we loved going snorkelling on the rif using the equipment from the house. For transport we used Tsuma with a comfortable 7 seater which we used for a Kilifi trip.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach house! The views were stunning, the space was clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Perfect spot for relaxing, unwinding, and making great memories. Highly recommend it, we’ll definitely be back, in shaa Allah!

Grosses Anwesen mit schönem Pool und herrlicher Gartenanlage direkt am Strand mit traumhaften Blick auf die Palmen und das Meer. Wir wohnten zu viert im Haupthaus im Obergeschoss mit zwei Schlafzimmern und sehr grosser überdachter Terasse, die die Schlafzimmer verbindet. Die Küche war hervorragend, im Vorfeld muss man bis auf die Meersfrüchte das Meiste selbst einkaufen. Drei sehr nette Bedienstete, die nebenan in einem kleinen Haus wohnen, umsorgten uns wunderbar. Den Beachboys sollte man nichts geben, dann verschwinden sie auch nach einiger Zeit. Den Bediensteten gaben wir je 2000 ks. Trinkgeld.Alles in Allem: paradiesisch.

Beautiful view and very spacious. Great places to visit and things to do nearby. Jet skiing a few miles away was really fun. Will definitely return there in the future.

The host was very clear and co-operative. We reported a broken toilet seat and it was attended to swiftly. Safe and upmarket hood right close to the beach, shopping centres and restaurants. All was very good and we will not hesitate to recommend this place to our friends. Great stay!

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

The space is exactly what you want for a beach getaway with friends - beautiful coastline and sea views off the back verandah. The staff are incredibly helpful yet unobtrusive, and being on Bofa Road means the rest of Kilifi is easily accessible. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay. One of it’s kind. Worth every penny. Ken, our cook, prepared nothing but a variety of delicious meals. Josephine, the adorable, is a very unique lady with a heart of gold. Rachelle, the manager, made our stay very remarkable. As far as the guards, they went above and beyond at making sure we were safe and well cared for. This place is s gem, and if accepted back, we will definitely visit again. If ever up for sale, please let us know. My family would love to call that property home. Thank you so much for such great experience.

We stayed at the Warm Sea Sand and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering direct access to the beach, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The manager, Rosa, who also doubled as the chef, was phenomenal. Her food was outstanding, matched only by her warm and welcoming attitude. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The only small suggestion I’d make is to swap the regular bathing soap for shower gels in the bathrooms, as they’d work better with the hard water. Overall, a fantastic stay!

My family and I had such a great time! The place was beautiful and clean, exactly like the pictures! Elyson was a great chef and very helpful with everything we needed! I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to others!

Beautiful peaceful spot with lots of space inside and outside and easy access to quiet beach. The staff on site were very kind and helpful. The house has a relaxed, easy going charm that made it comfortable to be there with children. We enjoyed it!

We very much enjoyed Bulloch House. It worked well for two families with plenty of space. Dominique and the team looked after us well and produced good meals. The pool was beautifully clean and the main seating area very comfortable. We also enjoyed using the bar area. A great house for a family holiday.
