A very peaceful spot with an incredible view. Birds and ducks visit the water holes and there are fruit, veggies and eggs available. We very much appreciated the breakfast goodies. It was a delight to stay here!

Great place to stay in Sheffield. In the town , yet secluded and peaceful. The smallish bedroom was nicely appointed, and the covered in patio was perfect for preparing a meal and enjoying the garden. Rate this place highly, and would stay again.

Great place to relax and smell the roses. The large bedroom upstairs was perfect, with a view over the pond and the huge window allows you to star watch at night. Echidna wandering the paddock, lots of birdlife and Steve went out of his way to help us spot the platypus in the pond. Steve's wild life photography is superb. Will stay here again

Steve's house is perfect for people who wants to sleep or stay in a peaceful environment. There are great views of the countryside outside the house with plenty of wildlife around. He was an excellent host with plenty of recommendations of things to do while in Tasmania. He was very helpful with any queries we had. I would recommend exercising caution up & down between the gate and the house especially arriving at night. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay again.

We had a great time, thank you both for the lovely stay! We were able to visit all the animals, room and amenities were great & so was the provided breakfast. Perfect for a stay to visit Cradle mountain & surroundings.

we had an amazing stay. we loved the garden, house, our room and definetly breaky. thank u for taking care of us. if you want to experienced a farm stay in Tassie, this is the place to be.

The most spectacular view. Outdoor surroundings is second to none. Our kids absolutely loved it. Room decor might not be 100% our style but it’s just a personal thing. House was very clean and great amenities provided.

Ich hatte ein dreitägigen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Roberta einen schönen Humor, war so hilfreich bei Allem unglaublich entspannt. Tolles Frühstück inklusive. Gibt super Wanderhinweise. Eine Unterkunft die ich jedem unbedingt empfehlen würde. Am besten für mehrere Tage!!!

Robert the host showed me around the old church and knew some of its history which I really enjoyed. Landscapes artworks throughout the place were really nice to view. Breakfast options great. (The lemon curd yum-yum) Nice herbal tea offered on arrival. Robert seems to know many things to do in the area and has a cosy guesthouse experience with just 6 guests max. Beautiful flower garden he's created too! A great option if you're in the area.

My partner & I absolutely loved staying here after climbing Cradle Mountain! Irene was very welcoming and accommodating to our stay — even helped set up a BBQ for us last minute! We were able to pat the Highland Cows and entertained ourselves with the rest of the farm life on the property The star of the show was the breakfast the next morning. Continental Brekky + Homemade Croissants + Barista coffee and Cafe-style hot Brekky offerings! I would rate this 100/10! Honestly one of the best brekkies I’ve ever had - absolutely loved it

Peter and Susie were the perfect hosts! They were proactive in letting us know that there are no grocery stores or restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of time to buy our own food (however, they offered to cook us dinner). Peter gave us plenty of local recommendations, insider information, when we arrived and they offered excellent hiking tips for Cradle Mountain. The suite was large and in pristine condition. The bed, linens, and pillows were super comfortable (we loved the heating blanket). Lovely toiletries provided and a nice hot shower. We thought the filtered water tap was a fantastic surprise addition. There was also a kettle and fridge in our room, with our personal supply of coffee and tea. The 2 course breakfast was the cherry on top, absolutely delicious. The only downfall, which should not prevent you from running to stay here, is the shower head being a little low and not having the best pressure.

Suzie et Peter sont des hôtes charmants, prévenants et prennent à cœur que vous soyez à l’aise chez eux. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment fantastique et l’omelette de Suzie est aussi mémorable que ses confitures maison. La chambre est petite mais rien ne manque. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas mais Peter nous a dépanné en partageant son hotspot avec nous.
