The stay was beautiful n felt homely. We were greeted by Muthu on time. Distance to the beach was most liked. The terrace n it's ambience gave no less vibe of a lovely lounge bar. The small garden sit out too was nice with the thatched cottage. The house keeper Kalpana too was a sweet lady . We would love to stay there again while in pondy. The welcome note on a peepal tree leaf is my souvenir back home. Thanks for your lovely place.

I recently stayed at this amazing villa in Auroville and had an incredible experience. The place offers breathtaking views of the sea that you can enjoy from both inside the villa and the beautifully maintained outdoor areas. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was pure bliss. The villa is beautifully designed, with elegant interiors that feel both luxurious and cozy. The outdoor spaces are just as lovely, with lush gardens and comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. One of the best parts about this villa is its location. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was super convenient for us. Plus, it’s close to all the central spots in Auroville, so we had no trouble exploring the area and enjoying all the local attractions. The care taker deserves a special shoutout for being so helpful and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with any questions

We had a very happy time in David's place. David was very kind and welcoming. This place is very near to French colony and Rock beach which are the happening areas around. It was really a pleasant stay. Thank you so much David.😊

Awesome ambience and good hospital we felt like home and its a perfect place for the vacation with Family and friends.

The home stay was very comfortable , clean and well maintained. it's at walkable distance from Serenity beach .The host was very polite ,hospitable and communications were very clear right from the get go. I was travelling with my aunt , we felt very safe and comfortable at this place(the host even shared live locations of the place for us to get back safely ). The host arranged for us to get an auto to travel around for the 2 days we were there . the home cooked breakfast was an additional treat. To sum it up , its was a very good and pleasant experience at this homestay.Would highly recommend it to everyone .

Our stay was fantastic. Our top priorities were reliable air conditioning and a strong internet connection, and both exceeded our expectations throughout the visit. Muthu, who welcomed us, was incredibly helpful and always just a phone call away whenever we needed anything. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with all essential amenities at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend this place.

Il mare era la nostra meta e qui abbiamo trovato un tratto di spiaggia pulito e senza barche in cui poter stare in bikini. I vari tipi di alloggio e i servizi offerti rendono il Tanto Far un luogo speciale. Se ami l'India, questo è il posto giusto per una pausa rilassante, per sentirsi a casa tra amici. Un luogo in mezzo alla natura, da cui è facile raggiungere i vari punti di interesse. Se ne avremo la possibilità, torneremo sicuramente. Grazie

The place is beautiful and the host(s) stood by everything promised (and more). They have more beautiful properties in the same area, and they know what they’re doing. The house was clean, pretty; the pool as well. Due to the location of the pool, it tends to accumulate twigs and leaves quite frequently but it is manageable. The caretaker will help you sort pretty much everything out. The beach is a surfing and fishing beach but that is no reason to stop you to walking over and enjoying the ocean breeze at any time of the day. Worth mentioning that both the host and the caretaker were extremely responsive and went beyond their ways to support us whenever needed. Really appreciate it.

I really enjoyed my stay, and felt all the positive reviews were accurate and helpful. Sandhya and Eric were lovely hosts who helped me with whatever I needed. Tanto Pizzeria delivers to the Farbeach rooms which is great, because the beachside can feel a little secluded after dark. Though as soon as you walk to ECR, you can access whichever shops and amenities you may need.

I booked the German House having previously visited as a guest the previous year. I arrived early January and left at the end of March. Having visited India many times, this was my first location away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by farm land, the closest beach is about 500 meters walk. There is little traffic and from morning until night you are treated to birdsong. There are lots of local walks and three dogs, Tina, Jenny and Maya to remind you it’s time for exercise. The shops are about 2.5kms away with all you need for your stay. The local fisherman also provide a wealth of bounty and the food I had at the German House was delicious. Finally I must thank Mala for her care and attention and of course her cooking. She does all she can to ensure your stay is all you hoped it would be, including regularly cleaning the swimming pool ready for a cooling dip.

Tanto Far è un'oasi di verde, di tranquillità e di mare. Il personale è disponibile, sorridente, oserei dire amorevole. Le varie sistemazioni possono soddisfare le esigenze di tutti. Si tratta di un piccolo paradiso informale, in cui è richiesto un minimo di adattamento agli standard indiani. Se cercate un Resort in stile occidentale non fa per voi. Ma se lo sapete apprezzare, ve ne innamorate. Il motivo principale del nostro soggiorno è stato il mare. In spiaggia si può stare in bikini. Il personale pulisce regolarmente la spiaggia. Se vi fermate diversi giorni, vi conviene procurarvi un ombrellone a Pondicherry o portarvi un telo con pali, tiranti e picchetti, come abbiamo fatto noi. La colazione inclusa nel prezzo è ottima, a buffet. Burro e marmellate di qualita, frutta e pietanze indiane. Abbiamo usato poco la bella piscina. Nella proprietà sono presenti angoli di giardino curati, grandi alberi, orti e una bella stalla per le mucche. Negozietti nei dintorni lungo la statale.

The place was excellent, the view was second to none! Requesting Feroz to fry up some massive prawn and seafood was one of our highlights….highly recommend staying at the Outrigger!!!
