The property is spacious , green and airy. Two big beaches (Kalkudah and Passikudah ) are just 200 metres away in opposite directions to each other. The host ,Mr,Arul, and his wife ,Usha, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was complimentary . It was vast, very delcious and had variety. We also opted for dinner at the Arul's property as it was so good. Seafood curries ( Fish and prawn curries) were made in heaven and the variety of vegetables offered was great! Here all the guests are offered welcome drink on arrival. Water dispenser is provided for all the guests so there is no need to buy plastic water bottles. Laundry services provided . A/C in every cottage but we rarely used it as cool sea breeze keeps the room walls cool. We had a great time.

Judy et son mari incarnent à eux deux la gentillesse et l accueil de la culture tamoule. Jardin magnifique, chambre et salle de bain impeccables., repas proposé chez l habitant… Au top!

Ubytování bylo krásné, nové a super čisté. V docházkové vzdálenosti od moře. Sheshan byl přívětivý, milý a ochotný. Bohužel jsme zůstali pouze na jednu noc, ale ubytování můžu vřele doporučit.

Joseph is a great host! He has planned every part of the villa very tastefully and feels very rich! Would recommend everyone travelling to Eastern SriLanka to just book and stay at this home!! Brilliant place, great host!!

Wat een geweldig avontuur in Batticaloa! Onze host Javid was ongelooflijk vriendelijk, goedlachs en altijd klaar om ons verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Ondanks onze laattijdige boeking zetten hij en zijn familie hun plannen opzij om alles tiptop in orde te brengen. De accommodatie aan de lagoon bood een prachtig uitzicht en ‘s ochtends verraste Javid’s mama ons met een heerlijk Sri Lankaans ontbijt. Javid nam ons mee naar een adembenemende, verborgen strandplek waar we genoten van de zee, de lagoon en een uniek lokaal vissersmoment. Hij bracht zelf spullen mee en regelde een tuk tuk voor ons. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Deze warme familie deed er werkelijk alles aan om ons thuis te laten voelen. Een ervaring die we nooit vergeten. Dankjewel voor alles! We hebben er enorm van genoten! we komen zeker terug! Echt werkelijk waar, de beste locatie waar we in heel Sri Lanka terecht konden komen! Shoutout naar jullie en heel veel liefde vanuit het verre België!

Krishan is the man. One of the nicest guys we have met in Sri Lanka. His wife is very nice as well as being an amazing cook. The place is very clean and has a stellar air conditioner. The shower is the best part though, hot/cold and the best water pressure we have had yet. Krishan and his family took great care of us and Maha Oya is a great little town to walk around in as well as the surrounding area. Cheers for the great stay
