An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. Get your caffeine kick listening to the birdsong before your day exploring the surrounding mountains. Hike, bike, ski, climb or just relax and soak up nature.

Wild Wood Cabins: Deer Crossing (private Hot Tub)

This bright one bedroom cabin holds a rustic charm set in a forested area, located just out of the town of Golden, BC. As the smallest of all the Wild Wood Cabins, the layout of Deer Crossing is cozy and compact, perfect for two guests. There is an open concept bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and washroom. Downstairs has the kitchen and living area sharing one open space. A pull-out-couch is included for an extra guest. Two covered decks also allow for more enjoyable times outdoors.

Cougar Crossing Cabin

Welcome to this private, pint-sized adventure retreat in the forest! Kick back on the deck or around the campfire, cook in the outdoor kitchen and end the day in a plush king size bed. Includes wood burning stove for chilly days, simple kitchen appliances, mini fridge, games and wi-fi (because, life). Bathroom is a separate building with a composting toilet (no shower). Note: this is a hike-in site 400 feet (5 min walk) uphill from the parking spot. Message for discount on 3+ night stays.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
