The location is truly as beautiful as the photos show. So many special touches from decor to the spa like bathroom made the stay extra cozy. The house is extremely well stocked, especially the kitchen and the shed! We loved kayaking. Much more shallow than we anticipated which for us was perfect. The stars were visible while in the hot tub at night. We loved all the available spots to sit and relax. We used the fire pit to stay warm one morning while enjoying the sunrise with our coffee. We used the grill for dinner one night as well as dining out at the recommended local spots. The only minor inconveniences were not having screens on the sliding doors, running out of toilet paper (but the DG grocery is close) and the WiFi went out and Robert never responded to my texts. (I was able to locate and restart the router on my own.) All in all it was a wonderful spot for a quick getaway to unwind!

We had a wonderful time at stony creek outlook! The property sits on a mountain with a beautiful view. The house was big enough for the two families we had with kids ranging from 1-6. The hot tub was used every night and loved by the littles (and adults once bedtime came) . The kitchen had everything we needed as we chose to cook most nights. Skyline drive entrance was close, about 20 min. We opted to hike blackrock summit at the recommendation of the host. We were a little concerned with the littles we had but it ended up being perfect distance with a breathtaking view! On the rainy day we had we visited Massanutten waterpark. We enjoyed a fire in the pit on a cold evening. Elkton brewery was a fun spot to have a beer. The biggest hit with the kids were the visits from the neighbors two very friendly dogs, Lily and venture. Although we didn’t bring our own dog, the house was well equipped to bring your dogs own furry friend. Can’t say enough nice things about this place!

Rachel was a fantastic host—accommodating, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. Her place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making for a truly enjoyable stay. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend staying here!

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

Kim's place was very welcoming, clean and tastefully decorated. all the bed were comfortable. There is a coffee maker as well as a Keurig. The deck/patio is great. We ate at the patio and enjoyed some drinks by the firepit as well.

Fantastic place - about 20-25 minutes from the national park and great spot for other places to visit in the area. Family friendly with a host and property manager who were very helpful.

Stayed at this condo for few days, great location and wonderful view. Would definitely stay at this place again

The place was private and extremely beautiful. I loved every bit about being out there at the Ecapes and would recommend it to anybody that is looking for a relaxing get away from any hustle and bustle.

What a wonderful stay, location, and lodging! We were right on resort property, the space was extremely clean, no foul odor, clean linens, clean dishes, cookware, flatware, etc. and I LOVED LOVED the HB coffee brewing station! The soace was more than ample for my Ohana. I was under the impression we would have four bedrooms, four baths, and and two pull out couches… what a delightful surprise when we discovered we had the four bedrooms , four full baths ANDDDD two full kitchens (modern and well appointed) and two family rooms, two garages! They are easily connected with doors that be shut and locked, or propped open as we did. Oh! There are also two washers and dryers. Check in was a breeze. I will stay again. If you are in the fence, jump on over to Andy’s side!! You will not regret it.
