The Cozy Island Home sits on a half acre in a quiet neighborhood between historic downtown (1 mile to downtown connector bridge), and Folly Beach ( 3 miles to Folly Beach). There's no hotels on James Island which is the only connection to the beach. So, if you're looking to get close to Folly Beach, without the noise or paying hundreds of dollars per night, we'd be honored to host you. Our home is safe, quiet, cozy and deeply grounding. We pride ourselves on calming energy ready to welcome you.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Brick ranch, conveniently located between Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, 5 minutes to King Street, 20 minutes to Mt. Pleasant and 30 minutes to airport. Full house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open kitchen, dining room and large living room with big screen tv. A screened porch, fenced in backyard, washer & dryer , on site parking for 4 vehicles. Walking distance to 2 playgrounds, tennis court, wildlife sanctuary, state park and a great view of Fort Sumpter and the city.

Large Guesthouse with Private Dock & Marsh Views

This newly built carriage house is separate from the main house. The cottage is about 1,200 sqft so it very open and spacious and great views of marsh and our tidal creek. We have a separate work area with desk and a massive dinning table if you need more room to work or to gather with friends. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, massive shower, the list goes on.
