Old Town Lake Retreat

Take it easy at this secluded, waterfront cabin near beautiful Magnolia Beach. Fish or launch kayaks from your front yard. This rustic property is located down a dirt road that can be very difficult to access when it rains a lot. 4x4 vehicles recommend. During dry times, the road is fine. Wildlife of all kinds are sometimes seen, many species of birds, bobcat, deer, and sometimes snakes. Alligators live in Old Town Lake, much like any body of water in South Texas. Swimming not recommended.

This home has its own private beach (this is a shell beach, not like a gulf beach), immediately adjacent to Magnolia Beach Park. Only 200 yards from the boat ramp, this cozy cottage has amazing views of Matagorda Bay with a patio to enjoy the sunrise. Five miles down Magnolia Beach is Indianola Fishing Marina, which has a bar and restaurant with great food, and a fishing dock.

Blue Crab Cottage

Welcome to the Blue Crab Cottage. Built in 2024, the Blue Crab Two replaces our beloved original Blue Crab. Your days will start with colorful Matagorda Bay sunrises and equally spectacular Powder horn Lake sunsets. The 360 degree views from the crow's-nest, are a favorite for bird and dolphin watching. Fish the bay out front or lake in the back. Just a few yards away, the Indianola Courthouse monument and Cistern monument are remainders of the catastrophic hurricanes of historic Indianola.

Come and enjoy endless Kayak trails. The fishing is always good as our facility is private to our guest. We have a Rec Center with shuffle board and entertainment area. Fish Cleaning station, Boat Ramp and boat Slips. We are 2 miles from Magnolia Beach and the Indianola Fishing Marina. The Cabin has a Queen size bed and Futon with a blow up air mattress if needed. We host two Golf Cart Parades each year, The Saint Patrick's Day Parade and the Fourth Of July Parade.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay near the bay. Located a short 2 minute drive to froggies public boat ramp and less than 10 minutes to king fisher beach. This cozy beach house sits on a large lot with plenty of parking for multiple vehicles or boats. The quite neighborhood lets you enjoy time outside while you grill your catch of the day or enjoy a nice family movie on the comfortable sectional inside.

Full size washer and dryer, full well equipped kitchen with a dish washer, so you have more time to enjoy your stay. Enjoy FishVille restaurant down the road or head to shopping and dining in the near by towns. Bring your fishing gear and use the community fishing peer.

Las Casitas on Magnolia Beach - Casita B

Las Casitas on Magnolia Beach is a Waterfront Chalet style Duplex that holds two different Casitas that our guests can rent individually or together (if both are available). They have two separate listings to identify them for renting purposes, Casita A and Casita B. This listing is to rent Casita B, a one bedroom condo with amazing views and access to a lighted fishing pier.
